How does everyone feel our pick with Taco Charlton to the other NFCE teams

Dallas, Taco Charlton, DE
Washington, Jonathon Allen, DT
Philadelphia, Derek Barnett, DE
NY Goodells, Evan Engram, TE

does any of these players scare you that they selected them?
Allen has health concerns, with his shoulders, Barnett, could be very good, but we have the OL to block him, if Free is replacement successfully.
Engram is another weapon in the passing game, but they did not, as of yet, do anything to protect Eli, so if we can get to him, does it matter.

I disagree about the giants. I think they have absolutely nailed this offseason. People are overstating their Offensive line issues.

They signed Rhett Ellison, DJ Fluker and Brandon Marshall. They drafted Engram.

The giants have to me an incredible offense. Ellison and Adams are tight ends that can block and play H back roles while engram is essentially a wr. They are going to be near impossible to defend. Paul Perkins looked good at running back.

That group if healthy is capable of being off the charts good. I think their pass protection is going to be just fine. I guess we have to just hope that manning shows up looking old and not willing to get hit.

Skins and Philly had good picks though I think our o-line can handle them. Just more punch in the gut because I would have liked either of those. Engram is an ok pick but slightly scary against our depleted secondary with all the passing weapons the Giants have. Good thing it's Eli throwing the ball and not Aaron Rodgers.

I'll be honest. I think Barnett and Allen could both be better than Charlton.

But we were picking 28th, not 14th and 17th.

They will be.

Exactly right. We picked 28 compared to 14 and 17.

the Commanders got what appears to be a great player but Washington's defensive line isn't all that impressive at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if they take more defensive lineman.

This, of course.

If either of those players were available at 28, they would've been the pick.
Dallas won the division, so that's how it works.

The only problem with the Gents is they couldn't score over 14 points last year. Not sure if that's Eli, the Oline, or McAdoo?? Seems strange with all the talent.

yep they lost pugh for awhile and had issues at tight end and couldn't decide on a running back.

This year with the additions of marshall, ellison, engram, fluker and making perkins the main back I think they are going to be rolling right from the start.

I actually imagine their defense is not as good as last year but their offense drastically improves.

Chaz Green best step up his game and take his vitamins

I'd put it 3rd.

Allen
Barnett
Charlton
Engram

But I'd imagine most would rank it 4th. I'm just not as high on Engram as a lot of people are.
Engram was a 3rd round prospect. Giants still can't run the ball and had all these offense players and struggled to score....plus Eli liked to turn the ball over

Why is everyone so afraid of Marshall? At this point, he's an average receiver and that's about it. He was never great. He was good, but not great. There's a reason he's been on so many teams in his career. As for Charlton, I think he has a load of upside. I'm more than fine with the pick. This RDE v. LDE talk is nothing more than pissing and moaning. You can either play or you can't. Charlton can.

Engram is going to make the Giant's offense much more dangerous next year. Everyone played 2-deep vs the Giants last year. Engram will make it much more difficult to continuously play 2-deep.

The issue will more likely be, their defense is going to get tried. They will try to outscore everyone next year.
