Yeah, they are improving.

That Eagles DL is no joke. I give them props. But that being said, and just going off the eye test here, did Murray looked dead-legged to you? He didn't seem to have any burst or anything. He just kind of rammed into the line. None of his usual cut backs either. I thought Randle/Dunbar looked more spry and had better success. Thoughts?

If you're going to give Murray credit for destroying defenses -- like his 167-yard game against the Titans and 179-yard game against the Bears -- then give the defense credit when (there is a) bottled up Murray. These guys are all pros. There are 11 All-America on the other side of the ball as well., This is the best of the best. Their job is to stop Murray. Sometimes he wins, sometimes the defense wins. But, like I said earlier, I'll take an 81-yard rushing day and a victory on an "off" day by Murray.

The Lions are in the way too. Chicago could not beat a Pop Warner team, so that is also out.

Yeah I thought maybe Chicago could give Detroit some problems but what I saw last night from them they have completely QUIT. They have completely mailed it in.

It will look even better if the Seahawks beat the Cards. I predict we get a first round home game against the cards then a road game against the Lions the following week.

What has to happen?

Green bay or Detroit have to finish a game below us. Won't happen

Cards have no chance of getting the 6 seed. We will play the Lions or packers if we stay as 3 seed

The chances of us getting home game against the Cards is slim to none. They would have to be the 6 seed, which means they'd have to lose out, and have the Lions and Packers tie. If the Lions beat GB week 17 and we win out, we host Green Bay. If Green Bay wins, we host Detroit.

What has to happen?

We have to win out, Arizona has to lose out, and either Green Bay or Detroit has to lose next week, and the loser of that game has to win their season finale against one another. Or they can both win week 16, and then tie week 17

To get a bye, its pretty simple (I am not factoring in ties BTW)...

First, we have to win out...

Then...one of the two has to happen:

1. GB AND Det have to lose 1 of their final two, which is unlikely as they play each other the last game and they play TB and Chicago next week respectably. This means that one of them MUST lose this week for this scenario to have a shot.

OR

2. Arizona loses their last two (SF and Seattle) and Seattle loses to the Rams this week.

If one of these two things don't happen, we can't finish above 3 seed.

It is looking HIGHLY likely that we face the loser of Detroit versus GB in round 1.

Not really... see above.

Right. I forgot to add that in, because I don't see any way that the Rams are going to sweep the Seahawks this year. Especially considering how Seattle is playing right now.

Dont we get a bye if:

We win out
Arizona wins out
green bay wins out

Or

We win out
Arizona loses out
Green Bay loses at least once and Detroit loses at least once

No. Definitely not the 1st scenario. GB and Arizona get the byes in that case.

Second scenario yes, but we don't need Arizona to lose out to get the bye as long as GB and Det both lose once.

The other scenario we get a bye is if Arizona loses out and Seattle loses to Rams.

Why does Arizona have to lose out? I get they have to lose to seattle. But that's it.

I thought in that scenario the tiebreaker is common opponents
