I made a joke the other day and used the phrase "trailer park politics". A guy actually looked at me and said, "I used to live in a trailer park, and that's offensive."

This mad rush to a unisexual, socialistic, language-policed group hug of a society is both comical and disturbing.

I don't find it comical at all, merely disturbing and irritating.

Would be nice to see all silver matching helmets with only blue star on shoulder and blue strip down the pants....that would be cool.

Sounds like something Edna Mode from the movie "The Incredibles" would design for the Cowboys... I like it.

Oooooh. Buuuurrrn!

I was actually offended when I heard that white was not a color. :p

Are you saying having a problem with white sounds racists? I think white being an inclusive "color" is a cool thing.

What's wrong with that? I'd like to know because I love Christmas.

Christmas is the best, but it belongs in its proper context, not on a football field strapped to the players in the form of hideous uniforms.

It's not just the color blind taking issue, I hear Santa's elves were pretty put off too.

lol, different strokes for different folks. The metallic logos on the helmets was what was most noticeable to me. I can't wait to see what they do to the Cowboys helmets. Not sure if I'll like it but I'll reserve judgement until I see it.

Unless the Cowboys are going back to the 1960 uniform then leave it alone.
Don't follow the crowd with all the tricked up looks.

Tradition means more to me than the latest fad. When was the last time you seen the Yankees in a different uniform?
I like the internet just fine. I was probably online before you was born. Unless you are older than 20 :)

I'm definitely older than 20. Lol. But again, we're talking about one game a season. It's really not a big deal.

I prefer disgusting to disturbing. I won't go off about politics, but I will say that I'm an avid South Park watcher and it's almost scary how people are starting to sound too much like the people these South Park episodes are making fun of. You'd have to watch the show to understand, but it's completely over the top how the general public is starting to act about being PC. To the point to where instead of trying to understand where people are coming from with their beliefs and feelings of being judged I'm basically just done caring what people think about what I have to say and how they feel about it. The Starbucks cup thing, the Missouri "situation," talking about how the 1%ers should put us through college for free. Why am I supposed to feel any type of way about all of this? It's crazy. Everyone thinks they're a political activist.

Sorry that's probably way too much political talk lol, hopefully I don't get in trouble. This thread is about our unis and I'll try to move it back that direction. Were the jersey colors really that much torture for people who are color blind, or was it having to watch the Bills and Jets play each other on Thursday Night Football? Should I be a little more sensitive to people who are color blind and trying to watch their favorite teams play? Yeah maybe (probably,) but where does the nonsense end? Are Christmas colors not allowed to go together anymore because color blind people can't tell the difference? If this post is too offensive so be it, this stuff needs to be said.

I can't even imagine how offended people would've been if this were before color TV's were invented.

Edit: Guess I failed to "not go off about politics."

I don't know why, but I think this post offended me.
