I read that Dallas will have white Color Rush jerseys Thanksgiving weekend. Said pictures wouldn't be released the week before but my buddies sent me a picture of the Titans/Jaguars Color Rush jerseys, has anybody seen anything yet?
If they're all white what do you need a picture for? I'm pretty sure they're...all white. Like the all red or all green we've seen this thursday. Except in white.

So, just making I understand, but that picture posted earlier of the white jerseys with the blue pants is not going to be what we do on Thanksgiving? We're going to be wearing white pants?

That's......unfortunate.

I'm colorblind -- something that is now referred to by eye specialists as "color perception deficiency." What I saw of the "color rush uniforms" in the Chiefs vs. Jets game was fairly disappointing, at best. I have what is referred to as red/green perception deficiency, in terms of my inability to see and identify them normally.

As we all know by now, their jerseys are red (KC) and green (Jets). My adult son, whose eyes are quite normal, told me that the red and green colors in that game were extremely bright and vivid. For my eyes, however, that was not the case. Red and green have always appeared somewhat dull and drab to me, so I could barely tell the difference between them. There was definitely no "color rush" for me, whatsoever.

I'll be curious to see what the Cowboys' uniforms look like on Thanksgiving. Red and Green are absolutely the worst colors for me to see properly and identify, so perhaps the Dallas white uniforms will look somewhat more appealing to me, at least. Maybe that'll be the case (or not) but we'll see about all that come Thanksgiving.

Glad you didn't whine and throw a fit like all the other color blind people, who somehow took it personally. I hate our society.

Thanks, I've become accustomed to living with and making the best of my condition. I consider myself fortunate to be of reasonably sound health in most aspects, with the exception of a few disadvantages that some of us have to tolerate. It could always be a little bit better or a little worse. Complaining just makes others miserable much more frequently than it'll resolve our problems. Society is only as good as those who comprise it. The tough part is that we can only control ourselves and hope others will do the same. Those who don't mostly hurt themselves.

I haven't seen one report of anyone whining. I've seen articles and tweets about how the Jets and KC colors could impact people who were colorblind.

Then yahoo's took it upon themselves to say they were whining and the society has become too PC. Yeah, I hate people like that in our society too.

Well said. I think some folks mistake stating our inabilities factually with complaining. Perhaps that's what Yahoo saw and interpreted as whining. I've known quite a few people like myself that are colorblind and have never heard any of them whine about that deficiency. One grows up with it and gets accustomed to it on a daily basis without it routinely seeming like something of a curse that can't readily be tolerated.

There may be times when we mention it simply in a conversation as a point of interest and I suppose it would mistakenly be interpreted as "whining." My deceased brother and my grandson were and are both colorblind and neither one of them nor myself have considered ourselves grieviously unfortunate for our somewhat mild inabilities.

Most people are curious as to what it's like. For that reason, many of us are willing to relate its nature. Thanks for seeing it for what it is without blindly accepting it as something that we, as colorblind weaklings, can't cope with.

Correct. Haven't heard anyone colorblind whine about it, which is why I have a hard time with it being reported as "torture." Torture is a strong word to describe somebody who's having a hard time watching a football game

The fact it's even a story means someone whined about it.

Not necessarily and if they did, whoever whined about being colorblind was sorely blind to what actual hardship[ is really all about. So, you're saying the fact thas it's printed means it's true? There's never been a knee-jerk reaction to something that has been grossly misinterpreted? C'mon, man.

Not sure if I am late to the party but if anybody is still wondering.

imagine the double stars with the theowback navy.

The guy who told me there were stars across across the back was a lying sack.

They are regular price as the rest of the jerseys and the week of the 21st Cowboys pro shop will be running a sale 25 percent off. And if you have the fan club membership you get an extra 20 percent.

I am definitely grabbing one.

Sorry couldn't take a pic she wouldn't let me

its funny that they choose those two teams with those two colors to start their color rush theme. In color theory pure red and green are on the same value range but yet are complimentary colors, meaning none are brighter or lighter than each other. In art its somewhat a challenge to use because of this. For example in the complimentary colors of purple and yellow, yellow is brighter and purple is darker. With red and green not so simple. Interesting that these are colors that color blind folks have issues with.

I'd be pissed off if I couldn't watch the Cowboys because of a stupid jersey color. Did they take it personally, or were they just pissed off at the NFL for being stupid and making it impossible for a lot of people to watch the game? I hate PC nonsense, but this is a legitimate gripe IMO.
