Pace is an off ball LBr that can blitz really well.

Nolan actually plays more edge.

Different player, and way way more valuable IMO.

Right now we need more help at LB than Edge, but only by a smidge. We have more depth at Edge but we need BPA so I’ll trust McClay.

Von Miller also had 33 career sacks at ATM.

That’s really the only knock that I have on Smith. He was a highly recruited player. And I understand the Georgia way with how they rotate players and the wait your turn process. With his talent he should have done more.

I know Georgia rotates its DL a lot but does it not bother anyone that Smith never had more than 4.5 sacks?

It bothers me. More than enough snaps to get more than 4.5 sacks per.

Van Ness running a 4.64 at 6’ 5” 270 lbs pretty impressive as well.

I’d love to get this kid. Plays a lot like Watt did at Wisky. Kid would look great with the star on his helmet.

Same…zero chance he gets out of top 20.

I’m also a huge fan of McDonald, Foskey and Anudike. Warming up to Van Ness…didn’t think he’d run 4.6 at that size - whew.

Except he didn’t have nearly the same production in college as Miller. Not saying he’s not good or not worthy of a first round pick, but everyone predicting he’s going top 15 is jumping the gun a bit. I still think he’s a fringe first rounder.

His pass rush win rate was in the 20s I believe which is ++.

Have a feeling either a stud Edge or CB will be available at 26.
