I hope they fix the redzone thing where the last game active is not a national broadcast but they still sign off and say "switch to your local channel" even though only like 5% of the country can do that.

They won't.

I think people whine about is having to pay for ALL the NFL games when they only want to get a few of the Cowboys games that are not on national TV. I used to buy the Sunday ticket for the few Cowboy games that weren't on living in New England. Now it's only about 3 maybe 4 games out the 17 that are not. So I find other ways to watch those. If the package was less money I would buy it.
Cable companies dont allow you to only buy 5 channels. Not much different.

its easy enough if you really want to. Get outside, get the yard work done, get some work on the cars done. The Cowboys only have 2 games the entire season with a 10 am eastern start time. That means you get to always watch the early games, then just stay away for the late game and as soon as the game ends, bam, turn on the replay. Ideal??? Not for me as I play fantasy and no way am I not watching those games as they happen. It is so important to me to watch them live.... thats why Im either paying or streaming. We all set our own priorities.
Yep. I play fantasy and bet online so I prefer to watch games but I skip a couple weeks of local games when I do this plan cause ...cowboys first....

IM posting this after listening to people WHINE on the Sunday Ticet thread about the price. So the NFL + Premium plan is only 99 dollars. It gives you both full game and condensed game as well as redzone channel. So if you are so broke you cant afford Sunday ticket, you can afford this. I think the real problem is people expect everything to be for free.

I have had this for the past 3 years and personally love it. If I had to, Id just stay away from games until Cowboys game is over, and as soon as it ends, you could come to this and watch the game.
This is a great option except, that I love being on the game day thread and discussing the game as it progresses...

For the past few years I've used "alternative" online streaming for NFL games and Red Zone. Quality of the picture is always good but sometimes I get kicked off and have to reconnect. This year I've already paid for this and will use it for Red Zone and watching the All 22 film after the game. I'll still stream individual games using "alternative" streams.

I grew up in poverty. Have you ever had to heat water on an electric stove to take a bath because the gas was shut off? I have.
I missed a week of school because my only pair of shoes were stolen. I know what being poor is like.

For those that are truly low income in older years and cant afford certain things... I have lots of empathy.

For those that have a new iphone every year with new cars and then complain te Sunday ticket is too expensive.. zero empathy.
TY I use a free smart link phone that stays in the glove for an emergency or urgent call. Plus, my eyes cant read those tiny screens.

Even if fans can’t afford it , if they feel the price is too high then they have the right to critique .

Obviously it affects how you feel cause you don’t like fans stating something is too expensive or overpriced .

Amazing from someone who appears to be frugal and cost conscience except when it comes to the Cowboys. Sounds like a pile of crap to me .
I think he is referring to people like me more than people that can't afford it. In other threads I've stated on numerous occasions that no way am I paying that price. I just don't think it's worth it, and spend money on other things. Cigarettes included.

There are people that can't afford it. And people that prioritize other luxuries, like myself.

I remember back when you could watch the games for free. Advertisers funded the entertainment. T
So, because you’re reckless in your money management borrowing money or seeking funds to travel you think everyone else should be . Or you just can’t handle them complaining about the cost .

Wow. These rants calling out fans who voice their concerns looks like attempts to make yourself feel better for slanted perspective .

You do you and let everyone else do themselves . I’d be far more supportive of a fan trying to live within their means while critiquing those cost than one living beyond their means promoting spending beyond their budgets.

These type of threads calling out segments of fans shouldn’t even be allowed on main page .
There are always condoms, too. lol

Let me get this straight, though. Last year, I had to get Fubo.tv, which I have to say is a terrible platform to watch football games on. I do not recommend. At all.

If I get NFL plus, will I be able to watch the game on my television? Like, can I bluetooth it or something?

I just learned that you can use a digital antenna for local games, if you live in the local broadcast area. That would work for me, since I live in Texas and literally watch zero television, cable, satellite or streaming these days. From there, can I get NFL plus on my television with a firestick?

I don't mind paying a little bit. And you can always get a free subscription and then cancel it, which I've also done. But Fubo.tv was so terrible and actually billed me after I cancelled it so I won't ever do business with that company again.

Just curious if having a digital antenna and a firestick is a decent option?

Also, just learned there are still other sites, just different names.. Sportsurge is one.. Looks pretty cool. You can actually choose the game, and broadcast type.. So that's coo.

So you think that from my post about the NFL ticket you can surmise that I throw money around and am in massive debt? lol...
I own a 2000 Chevy Silverado that I paid 7k for in 2007
2006 Suburban I paid 9k for in 2012
2005 Honda CBR 1000rr I paid 3k for in 2009
So what can you say about me now with that info?

You are right... I do go to games and I can afford to go to games. Partly because of the info I just shared with you above. I dont drive a 90k truck, I still have my 20 year old jet skis, not a new boat. I just bought 300 dollars worth of clothes from the closeout section of epic sports for about 50 bucks. Trust me, I am cheap.

I also own a few more cars, but I made my point above.

And If someone cant afford things I have no issue with that. I have issue with all the damn whining. What is or isnt expensive is very subjective. So why not just say I cant afford that.... not oh my God they are trying to take us all to the cleaners with that price, I need a second mortgage, wha wha and more wha.
Bro, stop whining.

Amazon Firestick Firestick which is on sale right now for 26 bucks. I have 5 or so of these throughtout my house on various TVs. You plug the firestick into an HDMI port on your tv and then into a power outlet. The firestick connects to your wifi. You download the NFL app and log into your NFl+ account. Then you just watch what you want on your TV.

One you are using the firestick, you are simply controling it through the firestick remote... just like watching normal tv. This allows you to watch Netflix, amazon prime... any streaming service on any tv located anywhere you have wifi. We take a Tv outside to the pool with firestick and can watch, in my garage.... wherever. It frees you from having to have every tv connected to a cable box. Basically it is the same as the ew smart Tvs.

but that 26 dollars is a good deal.. Im goin gto get another one right now...lol
ok thanks for the info! I will probably get one and try it out.

You could plug a laptop into your TV or get a firestick for 26 bucks from Amazon and watch through your tv.

Yes Nd yes. Get a rooftop antenna that can pick up the signal from your local networks and your picture will be as clear as having cable. Then yes you could use a firestick.

Has anyone used Roku to stream NFL+ to TV? Will that work the same as a Firestick?
