Because avoiding the score and watching the game 3 hours after it started is better than not getting to watch any of it? I don't do this every year depending on number of games televised in DC but it's better than paying 4 times as much to watch the game live in Sunday tix. At least for me.
It's pretty much a personal preference. That was the reason for my last sentence in that post. For me it's just not workable. How do you avoid scores? If you watch any game, scores are going to pop up.

That's it. I'm not paying to watch a game period. The ridiculous amount of commercials that stretch an hour long game out to 3+ hour is more than enough for those greedy bass turds. I stream all the games for free and don't feel one bit of shame about it.
I don't blame you one bit. Anytime something is priced high, or overpriced, like a football jersey, Lithium ion batteries, even Cigarettes due to tax, that encourages people to find cheaper alternatives. That encourages others to provide cheaper alternatives of similar quality. Can't blame people for taking advantage of it.

You sound like a Buffstreamer - I like that ; or do you stream from the East
I’m a local so I thankfully get all the games without any problems. I took issue with the post because I felt it came across as demeaning to those that potentially may not be able to afford to spend their money in this manner.

Its not that I’m broke, it’s just not wanting to give them that much for something I can stream for free.
I hope you're happy. That's one less deckhand on the U.S.S. Jerry Jones thanks to your cheapness.

nothing wrong with that.... but others are whining they charge too much. Well Checy and Ford charging 80k for a truck is too much also.... which is why I keep my 2000 silverado.

So, because you’re reckless in your money management borrowing money or seeking funds to travel you think everyone else should be . Or you just can’t handle them complaining about the cost .

Wow. These rants calling out fans who voice their concerns looks like attempts to make yourself feel better for slanted perspective .

You do you and let everyone else do themselves . I’d be far more supportive of a fan trying to live within their means while critiquing those cost than one living beyond their means promoting spending beyond their budgets.

These type of threads calling out segments of fans shouldn’t even be allowed on main page .
So you think that from my post about the NFL ticket you can surmise that I throw money around and am in massive debt? lol...
I own a 2000 Chevy Silverado that I paid 7k for in 2007
2006 Suburban I paid 9k for in 2012
2005 Honda CBR 1000rr I paid 3k for in 2009
So what can you say about me now with that info?

You are right... I do go to games and I can afford to go to games. Partly because of the info I just shared with you above. I dont drive a 90k truck, I still have my 20 year old jet skis, not a new boat. I just bought 300 dollars worth of clothes from the closeout section of epic sports for about 50 bucks. Trust me, I am cheap.

I also own a few more cars, but I made my point above.

And If someone cant afford things I have no issue with that. I have issue with all the damn whining. What is or isnt expensive is very subjective. So why not just say I cant afford that.... not oh my God they are trying to take us all to the cleaners with that price, I need a second mortgage, wha wha and more wha.

IM posting this after listening to people WHINE on the Sunday Ticet thread about the price. So the NFL + Premium plan is only 99 dollars. It gives you both full game and condensed game as well as redzone channel. So if you are so broke you cant afford Sunday ticket, you can afford this. I think the real problem is people expect everything to be for free.

I have had this for the past 3 years and personally love it. If I had to, Id just stay away from games until Cowboys game is over, and as soon as it ends, you could come to this and watch the game.
I use this yearly and rewatch games that are not on national or in my area it works great after a few hours after telecast ends just watch and FF thought dead spots in the game.

only problem is not looking at the score before i watch the game.

To me this is crap. Why the hell would I want to watch a replay of a game that has already ended? I don't see this as a replacement to Sunday Ticket. But if you like it, that's all that matters.
I never said it was a replacement for anything. i watch 99% of my games live. But I also watch the replay when I come home from live games as you see things you iss live.

I was simply giving a much cheaper alternative to those in another thread doing the yearly whine fest about the price of the Sunday ticket.

this is what I was wondering about.
Are you using nfl app or separate NFL + APP ?
what type of firestick, and does it plug in to hdmi slot in tv or usb ??

and do you still control /select thru the phone and nfl + app?

I used to get game pass, which was the same but it was browser based.
I didnt care to watch games on a phone, so blew it off after they went mobile.

It was the cheapest route.
Amazon Firestick Firestick which is on sale right now for 26 bucks. I have 5 or so of these throughtout my house on various TVs. You plug the firestick into an HDMI port on your tv and then into a power outlet. The firestick connects to your wifi. You download the NFL app and log into your NFl+ account. Then you just watch what you want on your TV.

One you are using the firestick, you are simply controling it through the firestick remote... just like watching normal tv. This allows you to watch Netflix, amazon prime... any streaming service on any tv located anywhere you have wifi. We take a Tv outside to the pool with firestick and can watch, in my garage.... wherever. It frees you from having to have every tv connected to a cable box. Basically it is the same as the ew smart Tvs.

but that 26 dollars is a good deal.. Im goin gto get another one right now...lol

I totally disagree with you - 99 bucks for the whole season is absolutely nothing for the vast majority of Americans...in fact the op post was really focused on a low cost alternative to the 400 Sunday ticket option which is 4x more expensive.

Stop acting like 99 bucks is a huge amount of money, any 18 year old kid working for whatever minimum wage is in their state (which can vary) could afford the per month cost ~$20 if it was so desired as an entertainment expense.

People spend far more on a monthly basis on a couple of Starbucks runs....it's about how people choose to spend their money and in this case it is a very small amount for a great value especially if you look at the cost on a monthly basis...
thank you..... you stated exactly the point of my post. I doubt 100 bucks or 79 for the year is breaking anyone that has a computer and internet access to be on this forum.

And it's on sale down to $80 as of last night when I went on the website. Or you can do monthly for $15 if you only miss a few games being televised.
down to 80?? Hmm, I better check to see if that means its even cheaper for vets.

i get the 400 bucks element being pricy for people, but the 100 or 79 to literally have access to all games and a lot of live ones is an excellent value. People make decisions all the time on "entertainment"...hulu/netflix/sling/etc streaming services are all going up in price and down in value (in terms of new content); people have to decide what they want to spend their money on but 20 bucks in 2023 is becoming a pretty trivial ammount given inflation, wage increases and other marco elements that are dictating the value of the dollar
