there is no work around. Make sure you are understanding what he was saying. You can only watch games that are already on your LOCAL broadcast LIVE. Any other game you need to wait until it finishes, then you can watch. I have a firestick with the NFL app. No need for a mobile device, I just watch it on the tv through the firestick.
That's fine, we get the Cowboys games here and only get screwed once or twice when they're playing an AFC team. I'll just have to wait until the game is over.

To me this is crap. Why the hell would I want to watch a replay of a game that has already ended? I don't see this as a replacement to Sunday Ticket. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

When you say "live on the app" you mean through a tablet or phone? That would be nice, heck I think I could blue-tooth it to the TV. I got this for my dad last year who was sick and loved re-watching Cowboys games, think I'll pick up the subscription again this year and skip the Dishnet sports package with Redzone,,, I liked everything about NFL+ except not being able to watch it live but it looks like there's a workaround . The all-22 will be nice as well.
Yeah, I’ve had the NFL app for a few years and they always showed the Sunday games live which were being shown in my area, as well as any nationally televised game (Monday, Sunday, Thursday night). This past season, I got to see 14 of the 17 Dallas games live… and I could rewatch the few I missed as soon as the game was over.

Then, last year they came out with NFL + on the app, which is the preseason games live and replays of all the regular season games, including condensed and all 22.

So, I watch the local live games like I have for a few years on the app and on the NFL+ tab in the app, I watch all of the preseason or replays of reg season.

They also have the NFL Network and this year will have Redzone. They also had a lot of draft content around March and April. They had ex-players like Steve Smith Sr. Going to schools pro days. For a draft lover like me, it was great.

And yes, I mean through a tablet or phone. I watch it on my iPad and it is the clearest picture I’ve ever watched games on.

Someone mentioned getting the app on a smart tv… if you can do that you won’t have to cast it over to the TV if that’s how you want to watch it.

I have a buddy who has an x-box that he put the NFL App on and he watches football on his gaming TV, so that might work also.

Speaking for myself… $14.99/month is more than worth it for me.

IM posting this after listening to people WHINE on the Sunday Ticet thread about the price. So the NFL + Premium plan is only 99 dollars. It gives you both full game and condensed game as well as redzone channel. So if you are so broke you cant afford Sunday ticket, you can afford this. I think the real problem is people expect everything to be for free.

I have had this for the past 3 years and personally love it. If I had to, Id just stay away from games until Cowboys game is over, and as soon as it ends, you could come to this and watch the game.
I’ve got that as well. Love it.

this is what I was wondering about.
Are you using nfl app or separate NFL + APP ?
what type of firestick, and does it plug in to hdmi slot in tv or usb ??

and do you still control /select thru the phone and nfl + app?

I used to get game pass, which was the same but it was browser based.
I didnt care to watch games on a phone, so blew it off after they went mobile.

It was the cheapest route.

Free? Well, we are watching commercials and likely paying for cable.

Thanks for the info though, I’ll check it out.

What a snotty arse post, just because you can afford it doesn’t mean everyone else can.
I totally disagree with you - 99 bucks for the whole season is absolutely nothing for the vast majority of Americans...in fact the op post was really focused on a low cost alternative to the 400 Sunday ticket option which is 4x more expensive.

Stop acting like 99 bucks is a huge amount of money, any 18 year old kid working for whatever minimum wage is in their state (which can vary) could afford the per month cost ~$20 if it was so desired as an entertainment expense.

People spend far more on a monthly basis on a couple of Starbucks runs....it's about how people choose to spend their money and in this case it is a very small amount for a great value especially if you look at the cost on a monthly basis...

Because avoiding the score and watching the game 3 hours after it started is better than not getting to watch any of it? I don't do this every year depending on number of games televised in DC but it's better than paying 4 times as much to watch the game live in Sunday tix. At least for me.

And it's on sale down to $80 as of last night when I went on the website. Or you can do monthly for $15 if you only miss a few games being televised.

I got so tired of seeing ******** pages from people that I actually did start one. In the headline I talked baout how I really was struggling to attend 4 Cowboys gaes this year. I have 4 daughters, 2 we are still paying for college for, one is getting married in Oct and I was really broke and needed help covering the expenses for my 4 trips. I thought it was hilarious, most of my friends got a good laugh. The wife did not think it was funny.

But serious, you can almost ensure as soon as someone dies, a ******** starts right up. I guess nobody has ever heard of life insurance... but they darn sure can afford that iphone 38. But I digress.......
So, because you’re reckless in your money management borrowing money or seeking funds to travel you think everyone else should be . Or you just can’t handle them complaining about the cost .

Wow. These rants calling out fans who voice their concerns looks like attempts to make yourself feel better for slanted perspective .

You do you and let everyone else do themselves . I’d be far more supportive of a fan trying to live within their means while critiquing those cost than one living beyond their means promoting spending beyond their budgets.

These type of threads calling out segments of fans shouldn’t even be allowed on main page .

Its not that I’m broke, it’s just not wanting to give them that much for something I can stream for free.

You are not alone. The number of people getting 2nd and 3rd mortgages on their homes to pay off other debt is sharply rising although it’s not being reported in the media.

additionally , less than 20% continued to pay their student loans back the last couple years so when it’s reinstated October there will be massive defaults on those loans as well……the NFL package will be a pure luxury for a good number of fans.

Good times……

It's much easier to change your VPN and just watch it live. No need to be watching a Sunday night game at 1 am Monday morning.

Just because you love and can afford it doesn't give you the right to say this. Last time I checked, you don't pay anyone's bills or know exactly what their financial circumstances are. We have to be a bit cautious on our assumptions. FYI coog can afford this, would rather just go to the game!

That's it. I'm not paying to watch a game period. The ridiculous amount of commercials that stretch an hour long game out to 3+ hour is more than enough for those greedy bass turds. I stream all the games for free and don't feel one bit of shame about it.
