Qak got it backward. Schott's future is tied to him.

Maybe their futures are tied to each other?

Whatever the case, they have to find a way to make it work.
The way to work it is getting good backs and running the football. That's what they are going to do.

He was just a MVP candidate. He was *** last year.’sure. He’s shown he can play in this league though.
"candidate"? It's called a flash in the pan. AND he's coming off of a debilitating injury in his 30s. Stop it...you're better than this. Sam Darnold has "shown" he can play in this league too...should we turn our franchise over to him?

Sam Darnold is a one year wonder. Dak was rookie of the year. There's a difference.

Bruh, a year is a lifetime in the NFL. That's going on 2 years ago.

Rookie of the year. And I got 1520 on my SATs back in the 90s...so what? "Rookie of the Year" and "near-MVP" - even MVP - are relative value awards. Relative to who ELSE was playing...who was the best. Champion and winner are ABSOLUTE value awards that don't rely on subjective value opinions. Stop it.

Dak is a one year wonder. He was carried by a stacked team his rookie year...looked lost without a dominant WR#1 - and has had 2 or 3 on this team ever since - and then had one pretty good year with another stacked team...and then CHOKED.

So pointing to one good season 2 years ago - when he promised his "best football was coming" last year - is asking us to be duped. You can believe that if you want...no one else is buying it though.

He's been solid for 6 or 7 years. Its not just one year. Don't be dense. The issue with Dak is lately he been choking in the playoffs. Let's don't act like he doesn't or hasn't performed in the regular season since 2016 or just 2 years. Be for real.

So we paid top dollar for "solid"? On 105.3 they broke down how Dak's cap hit for 2025 is more than 8 Eagles pro-bowl/all-pro players: Hurts, AJ Brown, CJ Gardner, Goddard, etc...

And you think I'm being "dense"? Dak chokes IN BIG GAMES PERIOD. NOT just the playoffs. He's only good against bottom-feeding NFC East teams...and we don't even have that to stand on anymore.

Eagles are bottom-feeding NFC East teams? Really? He smacks them up every time. I don't care about choking in big games I want to win a championship. All I care about is the playoffs. Step it up.

I never said pay top dollar for Dak. This ain't about his money. No one told Jerry to pay that take it up with JErry. It's done now. We can't take back what Jerry did so what's the point of crying over it?

"Obviously had a lot of success with this group..."

What success?
Only teams having success has been the Chiefs recently. Keep that same damn energy for every team, all you see is posts of the eagles and how successful they are, maybe I missed all the Super Bowls.

They can easily get 100 million in cap space. Dak can play better with Jeanty, Hampton, or Johnson in the backfield. They can easily do this.

I guess Dak runs the team yall. The same Dak that many on here thinks Jerry doesn’t even want on the team. Yup that same Dak is running the team now apparently.

Im sorry, did he hire the coach? Keep letting ownership off the hook, as the saying is around here, Jerry loves you.
Is he endorsing the hire? Was QB1 pushing for the hire once McCarthy was gone? Me and several others have trashed the Joneses ad nauseum since last March, you talking to the wrong one buddy.

Honestly, this is the only reason I put Dak slightly above Romo...he has dominated the NFC East for the most part. But I have no doubt if we face the Eagles in the playoffs, Dak will choke. You have all the numbers in front of you, but you don't want to do the math: It's not the color of the jerseys or even the talent level of the teams we are playing - though I have my doubts about his 'talent' - but the main problem is IN DAK'S HEAD. Top dollar for a 9th year headcase who has a bum wheel? It's time to DISCARD him..not INVEST in him...

I get that you have some sort of emotional attachment to him, but this makes very little football "sense". Maybe I'm too "dense" to see your math.

And don't wash your hands of this by saying, "nothing WE can do...". All I know is that you were the MAIN ONE screaming for Dak to "get his money". You should be happy...mission accomplished. Dak got his money and we got hosed.

"The simple conversation I had with (owner) Jerry (Jones), post the decision of Mike walking, was simply that, the continuity," Prescott said. "They wanted to keep continuity. Obviously had a lot of success with this group, with these men, and knew this was important to me. And Shotty has been a huge factor in that, setting up the game plan, creating the game plan.

"If you wanted to find continuity in place, look no further than Shotty."
Prescott has a very big psychological problem.

I think the death of his mother and maybe something else (the realization that he is a bad player and human being?!) thraumatized him so much that he had to slip into a different reality just to get along with life.
