NFL: Roster Cuts to 53 Tracker

I haven't been paying much attention to the rest of the NFL this year, and I have literally not had a single piece of info regarding Sam cross my path. The only bits of info I heard regarding him came directly from this board. I heard stuff about Manziel and Gordon, nothing about Sam.

Point being, playing a casual NFL viewer this summer, I was exposed to no extra Sam stories than normal.

This who think he garners extra attention and causes a distraction are likely over exposing themselves to his story. A self fulfilling prophecy, that's called.

Sam stories have been all over the bottom ticker on the football games ive watched, all over the score mobile newsfeed, and all over any sports news i watch. Actually, maybe he should go play for the Yankees or Red Sox.

What is the difference between admiring players in the shower and Jerry admiring players in the shower? I am sure Sam would keep his comments and/or excitement to himself, unlike Jerry.

I tend to think when a young veteran like Major Wright is cut, that he might have an issue. His contract was less than 800K, so he's not a cap casualty. Maybe Injury?

Yeah a back injury, most likely serious since they cut him. I'll still bring him in.

I don't think his back injury was too serious. Some people over there on the bucs blog said he got out played by a rookie. But also I read some where the scheme in Tampa is kinda differ than Marineli scheme. This guy may be hot swappable.

Marinelli could have had Major Wright as a free agent if he wanted him. He only got 795K contract with the Bucs.

No, has has not been good in a few years.

Outplayed is one thing, but not good enough to be the 5th Safety seems odd. Lovie Smith is the HC in Tampa and was his Head Coach in Chicago when Marinelli was the DC. Usually, new HCs want some of their previous players to help implement the scheme at the new team.

People just assume there will be noise with Sam, but seriously, all that fear will go out the window when ppl realize he's not Terrel Owens. Just a football player with a good attitude.
