If there is more than one player on the team constantly pulling these stunts, and there are, its time to punish their management too

Yeah, Everyone knew Rodgers was already hurt and it just looked like Suh was trying to do further damage. If Rodgers was not hurt and Suh did that maybe the league would just let it go or fine him. But clearly Suh was trying to make the injury worse by stepping on him like that.

Yup!

What are the chances Goodell goes hard line on this?

The thing of it is...he never turned around, even after Rodgers hit him on the leg...he never even flinched. Their center, Raiola, being suspended for a similar incident does not bode well.

That's the most conclusive evidence. If someone wants to lie to themselves after he did it not once, but twice, the fact that he didn't react at all to Rodgers pushing his leg shows that he knew exactly what he was doing.

If Goodell doesn't suspend him, he'll prove to be an even bigger joke than he's shown so far this year.

I agree, if they can't control their players then league need to come down hard on them. Like others this has nothing to do with Det playing Dallas, this can't be tolerated in this league

I'd bet there is zero chance he gets suspended for Sunday.

And I'm fine with him not getting suspended.

Dallas is going to beat them even if Suh is in there.

I said it in another thread, but I believe that if the league sees enough to fine him, then they will suspend him. It'll be all or nothing.

What im thinking as well, a fine is pointless with this guy. I think as well with rodgers reaction he may get a game

I think he will be suspended. They've been preaching protectecting QB's and it's Aaron Rodgers on on top of that. The NFL will make an example of him considering his past. JMO.

He should be suspended, but I'll be stunned if he is. I think he'll see a big fine.

It's not a matter of bravado, but a matter of the league showing its' players that it's not OK to try to injure other players.

This clown was already suspended once for this same thing and he's obviously defying what he was told.

OK, now miss a playoff game and likely your last one in Detroit.

And watch your precious bargaining leverage tumble since you'll be a player even closer to a lengthy suspension.

The money trucks won't be backing up for that risk.

Oh don't get me wrong.

I know what you guys are saying and I understand it. I don't think it's a matter of bravado or anything at all.

I'm just saying I doubt they suspend him.

And I'm just fine with it cause we will beat them anyway.

Can he suspend? Then Suh appeals and plays anyway?

He may very play, but in the end I think the league needs to come down very hard on him, this is pathetic, he is putting players at risk with his stupid stunts. Fine do not work with him, getting suspended which he has before does not work with him it is time for the league to sends a message this is not acceptable

doesnt make any sense if they just fine him. if they fine him, the league obviously believes it was intentional. intent with his history should get him suspended.

A simple fine would be absurd and awkward. There's no reason for him to only get a fine. That's like admitting the problem and not handling it properly.

If the league suspends him, I'm certain he would appeal. Given that it's the playoffs, I would think that the league would hear and act upon the appeal quickly (as in this week). Having said that, with this league front office, one never knows what to expect.

I'm not fine with it because it will again be a mockery of the NFL's already ridiculous player behavior policy.

Suh has done it before, and he did it again. Anybody looking at the tape can clearly see it. There is zero benefit of the doubt with this player. He deserves to be punished and the only way to do it is suspension.

Hurt him the way that he intended to hurt other players.

He stepped on both legs. I'm just really fed up with Suh antics. As I said in the old days you would not have to worry about the league office as OL players would dole out the punishment by setting him up for some chop blocks to take his knees out. Sooner or later if the league does not act strong enough eventually players will. This is the livelihood Suh is messing with and if he can't play the game cleanly then I hope players do take it on themselves to cripple this ars.
