These animals (Raiola and Suh) had better not injure any of our key players with their nonsense. Romo never gets any calls and every defensive player in the league knows it, including the dirty ones.

Yes, and if the league lets Suh slide on this last stunt (he pulled yesterday) without suspension, your basically sending the message to make it look like an accident and you'll get away with it. If he gets to play, he'll keep pushing the envelop and Romo is ripe for the picking.
I wish Free was back because I think they are going to stunt on Parnell (the weakest link) to get to Romo. Dog fight in the trenches all day.

I do not think he gets supsended because it wasnt as blatant as Raiola. Suh did a good job of never looking and just nonchalantly stepping on Rodger's foot and without much hurry, walk off.

The fact that this has happened twice in two weeks involving the same team tells anyone with half a brain that it is intentional. They obviously have discussed this tactic as a team in some fashion. Maybe it is just between a handful of players but it appears obvious they are looking for opportunities to step on opponent body parts as a way soften up the other team and get an advantage.

I see your point, but thats going to be hard to prove. So anyone who steps on an opponent tried to make it look like an accident, or just the players who have history?

He won't get suspended. He played it off well, and this is the playoffs. The NFL is going to be reluctant to influence the playoffs with a suspension.

IF he does get suspended, it's because of his assault on the "Media Darling", everyone's love for Rodgers as the MVP. Buck and Co has such a gushing crush on Rodgers it's sick.
If Suh had crunched on Sanchez or a lineman's leg, they would not even be talking about it.

He thought he was still playing for Nebraska, where the football fields are made on plowed farmland.

He must have thought he was stepping on a small hill.

Teams have tried repeatedly to stunt on Parnell in his 5 starts this season and the results are that he didn't allow any sacks in the 5 starts. The best effort from a pass rusher was a play by Kerrigan in the final game where he got a hit on Romo after he had released the ball.

And the fact that he didn't acknowledge the fact that he stepped on someone?

How is it that there was no reaction - none - to the fact that someone pushed on the back of his leg?

Anyone who did that 'accidentally' would have at least acknowledged that something happened.

He didn't.

It wasn't.

Everybody knows it.

Most importantly the league when they suspend him.

I think he absolutely will.

First, he already has documented history of doing it, with suspension.

Second, it wasn't just once but twice he stepped on Rodgers.

Thirdly, he lifted up his leg for maximum effect.

Fourth, he walked away, intentionally disregarding the fact that someone pushed on the back of his leg, as if nothing happened.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Or Romo. But heaven forbid, it was Discount Doublecheck.

Your fourth point is your strongest point, and I agree. If something grabs your leg, or hits it while you're walking, you look or acknowledge it. That is, UNLESS you expected it, because you were intentionally doing something sinister, and actively pretending not to know. I say suspension. That guy is a jerk.

Not a big deal? Do you want to volunteer your leg for a large man to put his weight on?

ah the poor baby....barely stepping on a quarterbacks ankle while on the ground is worse than a 320lb man throwing him down for a sack...you have offensive linemen leg whipping running backs, cut blocks with no suspensions.........and maybe the Washington player should be suspended for kneeing Romo in the back and breaking two vertabrae too, maybe it was on purpose!!

LOL. The first step, I believe he has no clue, but then when he realizes someone is there hes like, let me step with my other foot. Now be cool about it, walk away, and dont turn back.

I still think he played it off well enough (meaning an accident) that its going to be hard to prove it was intentional.

um. that actually makes his case worse....

physics my friend. _all_ your weight on a couple cleats is much worse than getting tackled into the grass with pads. come on man.....

You obviously have no idea what steel cleats feel like when a 300+ pound man steps on you with them.
