I also really wonder how many people in Brazil care about NFL games. Football means something entirely different in South America LOL. I don't care who the team is, dragging them to another country to play a game that counts in league is beyond stupid to at least myself. Flying from Green Bay to South America round trip is more than an entire day.

That's the only reason this game was played. The game should have been played here in the USA, but the NFL has become increasingly greedy with each passing year. It should have never been a Peacock exclusive either. The NFL wants to expose the game to a broader audience but then restricts viewing only to those who are willing to get a Peacock account. What a stupid idea.

The people in the Green Bay and Philly area also get the game. I got it on some obscure Philly channel, and I don't have Peacock.

Didn't see the game, and fell asleep early.

Thought the Eagles were done for checking on the game on my phone during the first quarter, and went to sleep on a high note because it didn't seem like coming back from behind was their MO from last year LOL

Watched the highlights this morning.

NFL should be ashamed of themselves for the playing field both teams had to deal with from what I saw last night...

I checked the flight times. It's a 12 hour flight just from Philly. Did they have to play in southern Brazil? They could have cut the flight time by half had it been somewhere in the north.

Like it or not the Eagles slugged it out for a tough road win against solid competition. I will say this for an Eagles club that has invested heavily in DT in the draft , Josh Jacobs tore them up in the second half running the ball . MM were you taking notes ?

It’s stupid to want to broaden your audience? We may not like it but it’s not stupid and makes perfect sense. It reminds me of how Blockbuster thought shipping movies to costumers stupid and then eventually streaming…..

Jordan Davis was MIA, linebacker play was suspect, safety play was suspect….Carter did some things in the passing game but yeah just the first game so hard to really know what to expect for the season.

Any updates on Jordan Love injury . I bet they were waiting to get back to GB for an MRI and X rays . I hope it’s not serious .

I listened to the game on the radio , no Peacocks spotted in my living room . Mayock who is a very good analyst like Kurt Warner on the radio , said Dean the LB looked much better than his rookie days . I’m sure Dallas will get to know him when they meet .

I'm guessing they are trying to enforce the rule. Tackles have been getting away with it for years.
Like Lane Johnson lining up almost at the QB and getting that half second jump lol

We were spectacular, we were ugly. But 34 points in a bad offensive day beating the team everyone thought was better on a sloppy field with a center who is not in sync with the QB, DBs in the wrong zones and Jalen’s spray and pray passing…

If we fix even 1 or 2 of those things we’ll be alright. Jason Kelce’s gonna be here early tomorrow morning until Cam and Jalen get this right
Who thought the Packers were better? Didn't everyone think the Eagles were better? Although, after last night it looks like maybe the Packers are better if their QB is ok

The NFL, like many other industries, is currently in the era of monetizing everything. It will burn itself out in due time as people get so sick of these policies that the ratings start to fall. We are seeing this happen in streaming and video gaming industries already.

They are pretty much the same teams. Lots of weapons all over the field on offense...barely any sign of a defense.

How do you freaking know? Only idiots or trolls will watch this game and make that statement without seeing The Cowboys play!

I agree that there is a gap between the Cowboys and 49ers, with the 49ers having a big edge. But as far as the Eagles goes, Cowboys fans on this forum have been claiming that the Eagles will widen the gap between the Cowboys since Wentz got drafted to Philly. It's common for some fans on this forum to crown Philly and claim how the Cowboys are no where close to them before the season even plays out. Yet with all of that talent gap Cowboys fans keep on saying the Eagles have, the Eagles haven't dominated or ran away with the division like so many keep predicting they will. And the match ups between the two teams either have resulted in a close game where the Eagles win or a game where the Cowboys just outright beats Philly.
