I have Peacock so I didn’t check but did it not come on NBC?
Not my normal NBC. Don't they air Sunday Night football? I got it on some Philly NBC channel. Channel 10. A channel I never watch. They also have another obscure channel 20, which is a Fox channel in Philly. But if I lived in North Jersey, I wouldn't get either of those channels.

I’m getting the opinion that DT in the first round of a draft is a prayer . Tough position to spend a 1 on .
It is. I’ve given up. I just don’t know how to find that guy it just seems like such a luck of the draw. Just gotta do it and hope you got the right one.

I agree that there is a gap between the Cowboys and 49ers, with the 49ers having a big edge. But as far as the Eagles goes, Cowboys fans on this forum have been claiming that the Eagles will widen the gap between the Cowboys since Wentz got drafted to Philly. It's common for some fans on this forum to crown Philly and claim how the Cowboys are no where close to them before the season even plays out. Yet with all of that talent gap Cowboys fans keep on saying the Eagles have, the Eagles haven't dominated or ran away with the division like so many keep predicting they will. And the match ups between the two teams either have resulted in a close game where the Eagles win or a game where the Cowboys just outright beats Philly.
Since Wentz was drafted, the Eagles have played in two SBs and won one.

Cowboys have played in zero conference title games. The postseason is what matters, not head to head.

The gap is what the gap is:

Hurts is what we thought. Hot and cold, streaky run option 1 read QB. He will panic and make turnovers. That hasn't changed. Barkley is what he has been, a great RB when healthy. Eagles D is what we all thought, overrated and soft. We can beat them. GB should have won that game if Love was healthy. Zimmers D should feast when we play each other. I'm more worried about GB again if Love is healthy. That Reed kid is Great.

The gap is what the gap is:

I don't give the Eagles Brownie Points for losing the Super Bowl. Besides a couple of seasons, the Eagles have had their share of disappointing seasons where they didn't live up to all of the hype and expectations they were crowned with. Last season they were crowned at 10-1, just to end up losing 6 out of their last 7 games. And still when the two teams have matched up on the field, the Eagles haven't been dominating the series or the division like some on this forum keep on saying that they would.

Overall they still have managed one more Super Bowl win in nearly ten years. Despite the amount of times they were crowned early in the season as a team who either would win the Super Bowl or dominate the NFC year in and year out.

Super Bowls are what matters the most and the Eagles only have one, despite the amount of times they have been deemed an unstoppable force based off of some regular season games or how they build their roster,.

That’s interesting.

My thoughts on this game:

- The NFL giving exclusive telecast rights to Peacock has to be one of the least fan friendly actions the NFL could have taken.

- I don't get the Love love. If you watch him, he throws off his back foot under pressure, makes bad decisions when doing so, and frankly, many of his throws are behind his receivers. He was fortunate last night he wasn't picked off a few more times. The Packers offense is well designed and well executed. Love would be mediocre in another system. That's my take and I am sticking to it.

- The Eagles offensive line is nothing like their offensive lines of the past. They are not awful but they miss Kelce in the middle. Becton, for all his size and accolades coming out of college is not nearly as good as anyone thought he would be.

- Both the Packers and Eagles have better defensive lines than Dallas. Jalen Carter is a beast. As long as he doesn't self-destruct he will be a great player for the Eagles. Jordan Davis on the other hand, is just a big slow guy. I don't know that he will ever be the guy we thought he might be coming out of college. Green Bay's defense plays hard. They hit hard.

- Josh Jacobs and Saquon Barkley are so much better than anyone Dallas can put on the field.

- Too many penalties. I don't know why the NFL would want to showcase a flag fest for their first game in Brazil, but it seemed like there were flags flying all night. Most deserved, some not.

- I think the Eagles will win the NFC East. I do not think the Packers will win their division.

What's more, I watched Pat McAfee's interview with the commissioner. Goodell was saying that the Brasil game was not a money grab. He then went on to say that, in relation to streaming only platforms like Peacock and Netflix, it's a way to bring the game to new fans. I say that's ********. The obtaining of new fans in Brasil would be believable if they could have split the options between Peacock and NFL Network. At least with that, those that do not have Peacock could either use NFL Network or could go to a bar that has it.

I was surprised to learn that Peacock has 33 million subscribers. But I would bet that most of them are fans of Bravo TV which is part of the Peacock lineup. Those folks are not your typical NFL fans I don't think.

I still think the NFL is looking for new fans at the expense of it's core fans.

Well yeah, and they need to be careful. They are going to go too far one of these days.

Sloppy. Sloppy turf. Sloppy officials. Sloppy Secondaries. Sloppy QB play. Sloppy discipline. Typical week 1 game. Nothing surprised me. Nothing I saw worried me. No game Week 1 will be any indicator of how a team plays this season. Except maybe the Pats.

...my thoughts on both these teams. NFC is open for taking. Given how SF and Det play.

Philly is not good as they were. Offense looks vanilla. Bright spot is Barkley. Defense is spotty.

GB did not look like the team that beat Dallas last year.

Will see where it goes.

Thought both teams looked good but both a little sloppy, which is normal.

Tough to grade each defense. The field was bad and the offense had an advantage.

Eagles have a lot of talent…probably most in nfc. Time will tell if they play to that talent.

Green Bay is good but they just do t feel like they have great talent. Still shocked we got down 28-0 in the first half at home to them. Ogh!
