So, what do you have against the Devil?

did I say devil? I meant spoiled, little, prune-faced brat

St. Gibbs could send in tapes of the Devil...to...uh.. well, up there in the sky so the Almighty could review them!

Also, St. Gibbs could complain to the nearest Church that everyone, including the refs...are making his team lose, and his little Marching Band screw up a few notes!

After countless minutes reading and watching videos of poor quality found on this thread, I've reached a conclusion.

Roy Williams is no doubt the hardest hitter in the NFL.

Sean Taylor is a dirty player.

Skin's fans confuse fact with opinions.

[EDITED] Why are we having this conversation on who's the hardest hitter in the NFL?

Everybody knows Roy Williams is the Hardest hitting player in the NFL. Whoever don't know needs to stop hanging w/ Michael Irvin friend with the crack pipe.

I remember someone by the name of Rodney Pete on the best damn sports show period had to choose between Michael Strahan and Roy Williams who was the hardest hitter and Rodney said he rather be hit by Michael Strahan that Roy Williams.

To me. Roy is the Hardest Hitter and the most creative Tackler in the NFL.

The NFL actually has a rule named by Roy Williams. Roy Williams put just as many people out in 5 seasons as Ronnie Lott did in whole career.

Can we forget Az Hakim when he played for Detroit Lions, he tried to fall down to the ground and Roy picked him up and slammed him. (Can you say season ending injury)

How about Amani Toomer, he said something to Roy a play before Roy Williams knocked him out. (Can you say 5 weeks?)

I know yall can't forget Jimmy Williams from the 49ers, he took a hit and was gone. (Can you say for the rest of the season?)

Roy put Tyrone Calico from the Titans out for a long time because his runningback Chris Brown wanted to show off by smooching Roy. (Can you say 6 weeks?)

How about Kurt Warner when Roy Williams decided to blitz and knock Kurt Warner wrist out of place. (Can you say season ending injury?)

Who can forget Lavernious Coles coming through the middle during the Commanders game. (Can you say for the whole game?)

How about Josh McNown from the Arizona Cardinals, put him out for the game. (Can you say 2 weeks?)

How about Emmitt Smith, which Roy Williams said on the best damn sports show period. (Can you say for the majority of that season?)

Emmitt said something about the organization and Roy Williams respond in saying some people talk and some people get hurt. What happen that season in Texas stadium against the Arizona Cardinals? Shoulder Blade perhaps.

How about when Roy Williams knock Shaun Alexander out. Actually knocked him five yards back also. (Can you say for the rest of the game?)

I could go on all day about who Roy Williams put out. He's a real intimidator.:starspin

Let me get this straight. A skins fan is on a Cowboys board talking about RW being a dirty player.

Sean Taylor to date:

1. Fired two of his agents already
2. Tried to get a new contract only a year after his first contract
3. Walked out of the NFL rookie symposium early
4. Arrested for a DUI
5. Failed to return Coach Gibbs phone calls
6. Did not show up for a Commanders mini-camp
7. Arrested for Armed Assault
8. Spit on a players face

Did I miss anything??? I am sure Sean Taylor is really a classy guy.

Yeah, before you start throwing stones at RW take a loot at at Sean Taylor first.

First of all, NONE of that crap has anything to do with him being a dirty player or not. RW on the other hand, is guilty of none of those yet he still cheats in any way he can to gain an advantage.

Also, he did NOT try to get a new contract after his first year. This is false. On the other hand, TO DID try to renegotiate his contract AFTER ONE YEAR! So dont be hypocritical.

Stop getting off the subject. Newton and Irvin isn't apart of this conversation. It's RW and Taylor. You still aren't helping yourself...Stop stalling.

Ok I already provided you with proof. Bizwah asked FOR JUST ONE and I provided it whether you like to admit it or not. I'm done with trying to make you understand this.

I cant answer that but I dont disagree with him being ONE OF THE hardest hitters. If you are trying to put Roy Williams in this category I dont think it will go. He does knock people out but its illegal and ends up breaking someone's leg. There is a difference between hard hitters and clean hard hits.

Marshall Faulk-- clean hit, Roy knocks him out of the game. He then intercepts Warner for a TD and knocks him out of the game. Pathetic 5-11 Dallas upsets the defending NFC champ, and it wasn't because of Quincy Carter.

Roy changes the game, his hits break what would normally have been bruised. Emmitt returned to Texas Stadium and Roy sent him back to Arizona with a broken clavicle. Again, clean hit.

Horsecaller tackles had been commonplace in the NFL; it wasn't removed until Roy injured four people by using it. Clean hits.

Every safety worth his salt has been fined at one time or another for using their helmet. But 99% of these helmet infractions happen because the players can't control which part of the body makes first contact.

Sean Taylor has intentionally spit on at least one and probably two players, and will be suspended game 1 as a result of it. How much dirtier do you get than that?

You know...I thought I heard someone calling his name... "Troll....come in dear...time to go to bed."

He could have at least said goodbye before leaving. That way we could have rejoiced our victory. :(

Victory? :lmao2: If you call asking for proof and then when presented with proof denying it then you ae the victor!!! :lmao2:

The truth hurts. Spitting in a guys face has nothing to do with being a dirty player...yeah sure dude, whatever Mr. Homer says.

TO did a lot of stuff that I did not like. I am on the record as not having wanted him in a Cowboy uniform, but now he is a Cowboy so he gets a fresh start as a Cowboy. Past transgressions are just that in the past. I will judge him for what he does in a Cowboys uniform.

ST on the other hand is a proven thug off the field and dirty player on the field. All you guys hate Michael Irvin so much that you guys went out and drafted the Michael Irvin starter kit from The U no less.

You going to lay the smack down now? Isn't that what you thought you did today? But saying you wont be back til tomorrow means you wont be back on til Friday! WOOT! Just admit defeat and move on.

Actually it would mean that I wouldnt have been back til Thursday not Friday.

I consider a dirty player someone who cheats in any way he can to gain an advantage. Sean Taylor was extremely stupid for spitting on Pittman's face. But it wasnt dirty IMO.

I dont understand how TO gets a fresh start now that hes a Cowboy. So you mean to tell me you're not going to judge TO on past transgressions but will judge Taylor on them? Kind of a double standard. Besides, TO was a jerk in S.F., had a fresh start in Philly and screwed up there too. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

I never hated on Michael Irvin. What he did off the field is his own business. Not mine. On the field he was a fierce competitor and I respected his game.

Sean Taylor grew up in a poor neighborhood in FL. When most people who grow up in a poor 'hood get rich, they immediately get the hell out and never come back. Sean Taylor was just trying to keep it real. This is just another prime example of what happens when keeping it real goes wrong. :(

Thought you wasn't coming back til tomorrow Troll. Btw....You have no proof. With the video you provided would be like me pulling up an Eminem video and claiming that it was Tu Pac. Get a life, and a clue. Dont mess with the Silver and Blue.

I still don't get how Roy is a dirty player - but Sean is not.

Roy hits people so hard he hurts them.

Sean apparently isn't dirty, though - even though he horse collars, hits people late, in vulnerable situations, and spits on people. (The video is indisputable)

But because he apparently isn't capable of hitting people as hard as Roy, Roy gets the dirty label.

Oh well....

I really believed today was Thursday, you *******. :)

Here I was, thinking tomorrow was Friday. I'm crushed.

About TO. No, I am not going to judge him on his past transgressions. I know they happened and they could happen again. Never said TO was classy dude. I did say I am going to let him have a fresh start here in Dallas. What am I to do now that he is a Cowboy? Quit being a Cowboy fan? Hope he fails? Hope he destroys the team? Hope the Cowboys suck? I am not a fly by night Cowboy fan. I am with Cowboys for better or worse if you will. I have my eyes on TO, but since I really do not care about the 49ers or Eagles it does not bother me much that he was a pain their rear end.

About Michael Irvin. Kudos to you if you are telling the truth. I have never met a Skins fan yet who likes Irvin, but maybe you are a first. Usually Michael Irvin is exhibit A amongst Skins fans when disrespecting the Cowboys organization.

About ST. First of all I dont care where he grew up. Pulling a gun on somebody is serious business. The bottom line on ST is that he has a bit of negative history

"He's had a lot of personal issues there," Gibbs said. "We've had a good talk, and I think he understands that. I think certainly he's been through a lot. I think he's learned a lot. Our feeling is he realizes some of the positions he's put himself in. I think he's ready for a fresh start."
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-Commanders-taylor&prov=ap&type=lgns

To deny that ST has been a bit of a trouble maker for the Skins organization is naive at best. Gibbs did not say he had a issue, he said a lot of personal issues like the ones I pointed out to you earlier. Coach Gibbs is ready to give ST a fresh start, much like I am giving TO a fresh start.
