NHL Playoffs

MTL deserved to win the series. Outcoached and outhustled Washington

But do you still believe your bull**** about the refs and NHL office after last night's disgraceful officiating in the 3rd?

And Dear Cowboy fans that jumped on the Caps bandwagon

Please get the hell off it. You bring some serious bad karma

The goal should not have counted, Knuble interfered with Halak, bumped him in the crease ergo no goal.

Maybe if 8 has not sprayed the little tot with snow from the ice before game 4 in Montreal, the hockey Gods would not have turned on him.

NBC still has Crosby. Ratings in Canada will go through the roof with the Canadiens still in it.
All of Canada could watch a Pens-Canadiens series and not match the ratings of a Pens-Caps series. ;)

lmao that wasn't interference and you know it. Knuble was only in the crease because Gill backed him in, and barely even touched Halak then, before Halak went all Robert De Niro with an epic flop like he'd just been touched by the hand of god.

lol. Your typical Canadian, almost jingoistic hatred of Ovechkin has cracked me up this entire thread and in most posts in the hockey forums

That call on Knuble is one of the worst ever. Seriously terrible call, especially after what happened to Huet in Game 7 in 2008. Likewise, taking the time to review the tackle of Varlamov on the next sequence was a joke. But again, according to you, Bettman, the NHL HQ, and the refs were all conspiring to take down the Crabs.

Glad the Habs won. My Flyers get to avoid the Caps, and Pitt gets the hottest team in the league. Sweet!!!

very true......cause a Pens/Caps series had the US, all of Canada, and Russia.

Please Pep, 8 million watched our game last night in Canada. I highly doubt that you get 8 million americans to watch a hockey game.

Knuble was in the crease, he bumped Halak who was unable to move to stop 8s shot. The look on 8's face after he realized it was no goal was priceless. He really needs to calm down after he scores. His Grammatica imitation will only get him injured.

Maybe someday Canada will get a hockey star that wants to stay in Canada.

Nah.

Sure, if you say so.

What a fan you are, changed your avatar from a Capitals one already.

Maybe you were one of the fans who went to Capitals games years ago dressed as an empty seat.

GO PENS...........up 1-0 on the Cans. What an impressive victory, 4-4 on the PP. That is a far cry from the terrible PP execution against Ottawa.

The season is over, genius. It doesn't make much sense to keep a Caps avatar on a Cowboys forum now that they've exited the playoffs.

i have to agree with u on this one.......what does an avatar change have to do with anything. id change mine if i wasnt so lazy.

Damn, tough loss for the Flyers. That was one hell of an entertaining game though.

Ok, Vancouver has figured out a way to ruin a great color combination. I love the blue/green color scheme, but the Canucks uniforms are a total eyesore.

I like the Pens and Leafs jerseys the best.

Too bad we gave away game one with penalties. Worse, we lost our best player to injury.

BTW Punk, is your present avatar Cowboy related?

Well we lost one of our best defensemen and clutch players too.

The penalties didnt matter, it was your penalty killing that mattered. Ottawa committed a ton of penalties, but they had a very good penalty killing unit. Pittsburgh wasted so many quality opportunities to score in the 1st round. The Pens took full advantage in that first game against Montreal. If your penalty killing continues to struggle, look for this to be a quick series.

No. But he's bound to be one of your favorite people.
