I would bring him in as a safety net in the event Moore doesn't look good in preseason and Dak isn't ready to be the backup, provided we can cut him prior to the season without taking a cap hit. If Foles outplays Moore we can go with him and cut Moore.

Best post on the page, makes sense.

The one thing is, if you bring in another QB, you will see them as being like they were on another team, but now they
will be with Cowboys ,running JG's offense, with our WR , so they may not look or play like they did on the other team.
Most times they will be worse, with small chance they might look better.

Moore , looked the best of any QB not Romo last year. So I still say he may be the best # 2, but If I could try out foles with
no costs, then I would.

But people tend to compare foles, to what he looked like his one good year. That foles may be gone for good.

He asked for a release. Does anyone think he did that so he could come here and back up Romo? Does anyone here think he would win the job from Romo?

Nothing to see here, move along.

Yeah, he probably wanted the job in NY. Too late for that.

Where do you think he could start?

I'm not sure I agree with you but, I'm pretty sure Denver could use an experience QB for a year or two.

As good a guess as anywhere else I suppose. But they did target and trade for Mark Sanchez to hold the fort until Lynch is ready. And that's another quarterback of the future situation I would think that a guy looking to revitalize his career would avoid.

Buyer beware....

Remember Matt Cassel had Pro Bowl success in KC at one point in time and that didn't translate. I'm all for taking a flyer on Foles to compete with Moore but it's a stretch to assume he's already better than Moore. Just like with Cassel I don't have big expectations for Foles.

Exactly, different team, players, system, oc, etc. make a difference. usually negative, but sometimes it goes the other way.
Cassell and weedon were awful here, but may do good elsewhere,

I would say Moore is the # 2 and if Foles can take that spot by playing better then maybe he takes it.
I am thinking Moore will look good in PS , but have to wait and see.

yeah he just said on the radio there is no interest.

The actions and inactions of this team often baffle me.

One of the excuses made for signing Durant and not signing a guy like Freeney was "they knew the player". What a load of ********.

When it comes to FA signings, he's been wrong many times. He just gives his opinions and shouldn't be confused with some insider knowledge.

well I have been listening to him for years, He talks to players, coaches and scouts daily. Doesn't mean he will always have perfect information because none of those people make decisions.

Absolutely nothing. I'm not pro Kellen either I'm just anti wasting my time on Foles.

One guys has actually done something in this league while the other hasn't. In four years. Who's the bigger "waste of time"?

We are not going anywhere without our QB ....... and Romo is not the kinda guy who gets hurt and misses one or two games ....

When he gets hurt enough not to play ...... he is done for at least half a season.

We need to find the next starter and a 4rh round QB is not gonna do it.

Foles is so bad, defenses stacked the box to stop Gurley and dared him to pass, and the Rams still couldn't move the ball. After posting a passer rating of 69.0, Foles was replaced for the last four games by Case Keenum, who then put up a passer rating of 91.0.

But but but the Rams had no talent! I mean how could Foles be expected to perform in that offense?

Foles is better than K. Moore. Comeon lets stop kidding ourselves. He was the Eagles starter for a couple of seasons and did a decent job ( not great). 2012- 79.1 qbr. 2013-119.2 and 2014-81.4

In what universe and on what team would K. Moore EVER be the starter. I'm all for giving guys chances but at some point, it is what it is.

He did such a decent job in Philly, Kelly couldn't wait to trade him AND A SECOND ROUND PICK to the Rams for a broken down Sam Bradford.

Then once in St. Louis, Foles got a big extension and it took like 10 games for the Rams totally realize what a horrendous mistake they made and bench him for Case Keenum, who went out and played much better than Foles did with the same offensive talent.

This isn't meant to be an endorsement of Kellen Moore. But people thinking Foles is much better haven't really been paying attention.

To me, they're almost the 'anti-Cowboys' when it comes to the draft. They can hit on defensive players, but continue to miss on the offensive side (other than Gurley). Whereas in Dallas, it's just the opposite.

It sounds like it's an endorsement of Chip Kelly's decisions.

That's great and all but when people are defending Foles awful play in St. Louis because he didn't have talent around him, it kind of takes the wind out of their sails when Case Freaking Keenum was significantly better than Foles with the same talent and coaching.
