You just made his point. Outside our own base, most fans hate the Cowboys.Imagine that?
I'm trying but just can't imagine anyone hating the Cowboys.

Huh?
Peterson's appeal was heard in December of last year and within two weeks, Henderson denied his appeal and that's how it ended up in Judge Doty's lap.
That's the comparison here to Hardy. Rice and Peterson both got responses to their league appeals in less time than Hardy has taken.
Talking with him is very difficult sometimes. He will argue with you and then put up a quote that supports your position.
You are right about Peterson. Henderson heard his appeal and ruled within 2 weeks(it was heard Dec 2-4 and the ruling came Dec 14). THEN Peterson took his case to Federal Court and got Judge Doty.
AGAIN, Doty sent the decision back to Henderson for arbitration, and he has not ruled again.
This stuff isn't very difficult.
We are talking about Henderson and his NFL appeal, not Doty or Federal Court.
Try to keep up.
Again, I wish I could say this slowly for you.
Doty sent the issue BACK to Henderson for FURTHER arbitration...
To which he has NOT arbitrated.
Yea seems like they try to throw news in on Friday that's controversial so it dies some over the weekend so hopefully this is the case
Which hasn't happened. The actual initial appeal ruling took 10 days for Peterson. His meeting in February was a reinstatement meeting. There has been no further appeal/arbitration hearing. Its not the same thing at all that you're trying to compare. Hardy actually HAD this appeal hearing and hasn't had it ruled on. Peterson had ONE so far to which it was ruled on in 10 days.
what guy?

The point is, Henderson and the appeal still hasn't been settled. It was sent back to him a long time ago, and he still hasn't made a new (court mandated) ruling on that suspension appeal. This delay has compelled the NFLPA to file a claim of contempt by the NFL. GB is arguing that this case will have a significant impact on the outcome of Hardy's case.
I'm not sure what you guys would be confused about. He's been quite clear, at least in this instance.
It's pretty safe to say that the NFL is, at this point, in breach of the CBA, which requires that the ruling is made "as soon as practicable". No lawyer is going to say they've met that time frame. And if the NFL plans to string this out into July, we might see a situation in which the NFLPA sues the NFL based on that alone. The NFL would lose, without question.
