He was a backup. Stats aren't going to provide any proof either way, but his sheer number of snaps with the offense provides far more insight into his worth than you saying 'he sucks'. Nice analysis.

No, he did suck. He took plenty snaps with the offensive. he took enough to average more than 130 yard a season. I'm sure Bennett has to potential to do in a game what Fasano did in 2 seasons. He absolutely did nothing for us when he was in the game. He wasn't an effective blocker he wasn't a good pass catcher. Its a big stretch for you to say that theres any other world to describe he play besides "suck."

The helmet thing bothered me the most. It reminded me of my 6yr old when I tell him to do something. He'll do it but he'll take as loooooog as he can to do it. Bennett never actully put it on until it was time to go back to the field. He played around with the chin strap and such until it was time to go back to the field.

And my opinion is stupid because im some one who played in 28 carrer games have 260 total yards and 1 touchdown. lol, Dude stop with the jokes. Fasano was a second round pick. And he has 260 yards and 1 TD. But hes not a bust. LOL.

While I agree that his attitude seemed to be lacking while I watched the show, let's not lose perspective here fellas. HBO is trying to create drama, it creates interest and makes us want to tune in next week. They could have chosen the absolute worst moments he has had in camp and made it appear that he isn't coachable. They did the same thing last week with Lattimore and almost everyone on the team seemed to come out in his defense.

I think everyone should wait until Pre-Season is over before we rush into calling players turds or busts.

When you have Witten ahead of you with 90+ rec, your #1 WR with 80+rec and your #2 WR with 50+ rec there isnt much left for the back up TE. I'm sure Gates, Gonzalez back up didnt do much more. Their #2's #'s may be a little inflated due to injuries to the starters but I'm pretty sure they still arent great #'s.

I dont think the Cowboys organziation would let them do that. That could kill a players confindence. Especially a young rookie. The came this week though and compimented Lattimore. They didnt do that to Bennett.

Dont blame him for where he went in the draft and who was ahead of him. He had arguably the best TE in the NFL ahead of him.
