Team rules. Rules are rules. I have a department of 20 and have had dress code conversations before.

Yes they are team rules and the players should follow them. Doesn't mean the rule isn't stupid and that maybe more imoprtant things should be worried about than whether or not a football player wears a suit.

Does this mean CWhite and CMichael can come back?????

They are still carrying suits for the trip home I guess. But what is wrong with letting athletes wear warm-ups while traveling.

Good to see the OC getting on board.

If the head coach puts rules in place then follow the rules, especially When you are backup players. That concept shouldn't be hard to follow.

So you are saying they didn't wear suits to NY and TB?

I'm pretty sure they wore sweats on the plane. Iirc, I actually posted threads of them boarding the plane. With one of the rookies carrying Buffalo Wild Wings.

I know I saw them wearing suits in the pictures going to NY. Maybe it was just because they were going straight to dinner at Ground Zero.

It was widely reported that Corey White and Christine Michael were cut for not wearing suits on the plane. It turns out it was suits on the bus ride to the actual game. It does appear that they wear the team sweats on the planes.

Why do you care so much about where the reported minor insubordination occurred ? We cut two bottom roster guys, maybe in part because they chose not to follow directions about team dress code. It's pretty straightforward stuff.

Why do you care why I care?

If it doesn't bother you, so what.

So is this your subtle, indirect way of acknowledging that your thread here is a fail?

If anybody believes they were cut solely for not wearing suits, I have oceanfront property in Kansas available.

That's easy. Your implication is that the team did something wrong when they didn't.

That's not for you to decide.

I find it silly and that's all that matters.

If you aren't interested move along.

It was reported that way, because the actual cut player said that was why. lol

The team has a lot of flaws, but I refuse to believe they're that petty, and I think the whole premise of this thread is silly. So I'm going to move on from this thread as you suggested to Idgit.

Well I learned something, so I will mark it down as a small win.

Of course it's for me to decide. You find it silly for bad reasons, and I'm pointing it out.

If you don't like it, let it drop. Or make a better argument. Either option is better than complaining when you try to make a point and somebody disagrees with with you.

It's my thread. I posted it because it is how I feel.

I don't need your permission or approval. Frankly your opinion is less than irrelevant to me.

You seem to have a personal problem with me in general but that too is your problem.

I have never been a big rules guy.

I think dress codes are stupid but that probably comes from my Catholic school educational experience.

I never signed up hall monitor either. Snitches get stitches.

It being your thread has doesn't mean people have to agree with you. I never suggested you needed permission. I just think you're being silly and said so, and you don't like it.

I can assure you that you thinking I seem to have a problem with you isn't my problem. I don't even remember us particularly getting into anything previously. If you think it seems personal, it's in your head and not mine. I just don't understand why you're hung up on defending the right of back-roster players to disregard team rules in any capacity.
