No suits for the trip to Washington

I didn't just mention the military.

And the uniform attention to detail does conceivably improve output on the field because discipline and teamwork and attention to detail are important.

But that's not relevant. The single best reason for players to do it is because it's required.

if that is the case, then it isn't working as this team is not disciplined, nor detail oriented.

Or...they don't have very good QB play and they're losing the turnover differential. But, hey, they're losing games, so it must be the case that everything stinks across the board.

The "discipline from team rules certainly doesn't translate to the field. We are a dumb undisciplined team

According to what basis are we dumb and undisciplined? And if you do actually have a basis where that's supported, how exactly does lightening up on the travel dress code requirements make anything better?

a player that will openly break coach rules is a cancer

I realize the Garret hate is strong but come on man........

well running out of bounds by McFadden when you want to run out the clock, facemasking on the ensuing kickoff, we are the only team in the NFL that would have to score twice after recovering a fumble in a tie game with 1:27 to go

what about too many men on the field on the opening punt,,,,,

Yeah, that's just anecdotal, though. Those things happen to all teams, across the league, every week.

For example, are we looking at penalties against? If so, we're probably in the top 10 in the league right now, so that's reasonably undisciplined. But not all penalties equal. Penalty yardage against? I think we were somewhere in the top 20 the last time I bothered to look it up. Not sure how that matches up.

We're far from the only team in the league who'd have to score twice with 1:27 to go. We're just the only team we care about so much that has to do it. Look at recent CLE or DET games if you want to see heartbreakers. That's the reality of the league, especially when you give the ball up 3 times and are playing with a sub-par QB who can't score enough points to get you playing with a decent lead most of the game.

That is whats so funny. The disconnect between JG and reality is scary.

He says and does all the right things, he is fluent in Coachspeak. He even brings in the RKGs but we are the same stupid, undisciplined teams that we were under Wade.

Every game we see mental mistake after mental mistake that literally make you slap your forehead.

And we run some of the most vanilla offenses and defenses in the league.
