ShockingI don't see good enough blocking to make me reserve him a special role and a roster spot.
My first foray into creating a video to upload to youtube.
Noah Brown blocks Giants Strong Safety #31.
Notice that #34 following Brown is the Nickel CB.
The Nickel CB would likely be a LB if Brown replaced with a TE.
That is part of my pointI’m not missing the point. I’m pointing out that it’s barely relevant because those players aren’t going to realistically get passed to anyway.
Noah Brown has *9* career receptions in two years. He played 245 ST snaps over that time and was one of our better ST players. You’re going to downgrade blocking on the offensive snaps where he’s not getting thrown to and downgrade ST coverage for a marginally ‘better’ receiver who’s going to get, what, 8 receptions total if he *doubles* Brown’s reception production next season? That’s not likely to happen.
That is part of my point
He is a WR that is one of the best blockers at WR in the entire NFL....if not the best. We maximize what he does well which includes blocking and ST. As you stated that is what he is.Then maybe you just don’t understand his role on the team as a back-roster player who primarily gets ST snaps. Because that’s what he is.

My overall point is if we have a WR that is a decent blocker, a better than average to great STmer and can also provide more in passing game as a receiver then....Noah should get the boot....IMO.
Let him practice some at TE as well. Can he run block I wonder.
I posted 2 videos of Brown run blocking...
Sorry but most 5/6 guys get more than 9 targets over 3 seasons. The reason Noah does not is because that is not his strength. If you can get someone that offers more at 5/6.....Noah gets the boot...IMOAnd mine was that, given how little a WR5/6 gives any team in terms of production in the passing game when the vast majority of their snaps are on Teams or on offense when they’re not a realistic target to get the ball, then that would be a foolish roster decision. You keep the guys who give you what you need for the snaps they’re actually going to play.
I just can’t get over that TD toss he dropped.
That’s what we need. I just can’t get over that TD toss he dropped. Lol. It happens. I mentioned moving him to TE a while back and got jumped on. Lol. He is about big enough.
No. The one I am thinking about was on the other side of the field. Dak threw it rolling that way about 5 yards to him and he dropped it. Right at the goal line. I think it was him. Or was it the FB..

Well I am blaming Brown. That was the FB Olawale.
