From what Jerry said this week I expect he will hold off in Romo's return if we win Sunday .

He's trying to balance what's best for the team while placing himself and Romo in the best position to come out smelling like a rose.

Unfortantely, I have little faith Jerry won't find a way to screw up a good situation.

The good news is Romo will have the opportunity to put all of this to rest and make many of us look silly for falling head over heels for Dak.

And then there's the other scenarios . And how will Jerry deal with those ?

I'm always hopeful but history this era doesn't bode well for a happy ending to the Cinderella story of Tony Romo.

dallas was 3.5 underdog with cin at home!
GB is a 3 pt fav just for being at home
but I prefer dallas to be the underdog.

It's a good problem for everyone but Romo if he's ready to come back in. And it's a problem for Jerry if Romo gets booed off the field .

I truly hope they brig Romo back . Let's see what we're missing and put this controversy to bed once and for all.

Romo is not going to get booed off the field, where is that coming from? He was shown on the video board sunday and the crowd cheered.

As they are all saying around the country..

no way do we beat them at Lambeau.

So..

does that mean we have nothing to lose..

and we can just pull out all the stops..

and play like a bunch of crazed wolves?

Or does it mean we go in trying not to lose..

and go ultra conservative and hope for it?

How are we playing this game?

And what will be the turning point?

One thing I know for sure..

At least we don'the have to worry about DAK choking against the Packers like Romo has in 2014 and Brett Favre in 2010 when he played Minnesota in the playoffs.

Romo seems to have a mental block when it came to his hero Favre in Green and Gold and now Rodgers, too.

Thoughts.?
Romo chocked in 2014?

We'll see what happens if he loses. Maybe they're cheering cause he's on the bench. Ha!

Cowboy fans just want to win. We don't care who leads us.

Up until this year we didn't think we could win without Romo. Dak has provided us another option is all.

I know the local fan base . We booed Merideth. We threw Landry under the bus. No one is safe if they disappoint .

Yeah and he hasn't disappointed. There is always an element that boos that will never change though.

He won't get booed unless he starts to throw interceptions and we start losing.

What if he throws an interception and we win? Will half boo and half cheer? Will the Romo hating fans be mad after the game even though we won? I bet they will because they have always hated him and just have a new reason to now.

Good that we are the underdog ! Being discounted is a big mistake by football world ! the train is coming to lambeau Sunday this will be a statement game ! EE goes for 145 yards and 1 score tweets will be abound of did you see what the boys did to the pack.

After Sunday we will no longer be considered underdogs or pretenders!

I truly believe we are going to give them a beat down this Sunday. Rogers and the Packers are not the team they used to be. We are better than 2014 team and we know that we were 2 plays from beating them in the playoffs. That Murray fumble was a killer, and would have scored., We are going to run all over them and I have a feeling Dak is going to push the ball down the field more. Look for Butler to have a big game.

Did you guys notice the power ranking this week we are about #6 and Green Bay is not in the top ten, the media knows the cowboys are rolling, so the Lambeau field gives about 2 points of an edge. I promise you the defensive coordinator is still not sleeping thinking about how to contain Dak and Zeke. If this Oline starts hot, it is hard to shut down the long drives that render defenses useless in the fourth quarter. Green Bay will have to sell their soul to stop this team especially if Dez is capable of contributing.

Unfortunately the success or failure of the team rest on the QB. It's not always fair . No other position is under such scrutiny . But there's a reason they are the highest paid. They have more influence in the outcome than most .

There's not much satisfaction for a QB to accumulate career stats without team success. Romo won't receive the recognition Witten will for his career achievements without more team success.

It's why Jerry and the Romo faithful are desperate to validate his career with a championship since we've finally surrounded him with enough talent that even a 4th round Rookie can win with if Romo can stay on his feet .

Because this rhetoric from the Romo faithful is garbage.

The Romo playbook is him killing the play called and then providing his Improv.

What we are most likely seeing with Dak is executing the actual plays called.

Finally after all of these years we are seeing Garrett's offense in full action.

Who's missing the Kill Kill Kill last second mahem at the LOS ?

What a load of horse manure, an 80% healthy Romo lead the entire freaking league and shined in 2014 while making play adjustments at the line. They were 2nd in the NFL on 3rd down conversions when the season was over. He threw 3 touchdowns in that Packer game (one of which was falsely overturned). Enough with the revisionism. The horrible defense couldn't slow down a one legged Rodgers, that's why they lost.

Why is this offense rolling with Dak? I'd say it's largely because of the read option and a devastating run game. Teams are unable to play an 8-in-the-box scheme because of the option and, so far, have been unable to stop the run. Dak has been stellar at converting the 3rd and manageable consistently. Having Romo in there might change their run success, it will be interesting to see,,, they'll be able to go 8-in-the-box but then Romo can make them pay by passing it. This might be the only reason to play Dak over Romo.

To be honest I don't think it's going to come to that. I doubt he lasts the season.he's only played 4 games in two seasons and was hurt in 2 of them..

As I said before, Romo's been wasted here. I'm not going to look back with fondness on this era of Cowboys football. All I'm going to think is how can we have a QB as good as Tony and win only 2 playoff games?
