some years they have and some years they haven't.
More years they haven't . 5 of the last 6 years for example .

We are the Dallas Cowboys not the Detroit Lions where Romo and this era might be considered a highlite reel in team history,

Yep. We've had one successful season this decade. Those 8-8 seasons need to be forgotten.

What a load of horse manure, an 80% healthy Romo lead the entire freaking league and shined in 2014. They were 2nd in the NFL on 3rd down conversions when the season was over. He threw 3 touchdowns in that Packer game (one of which was falsely overturned). Enough with the revisionism. The horrible defense couldn't slow down a one legged Rodgers, that's why they lost.

Why is this offense rolling with Dak? I'd say it's largely because of the read option and a devastating run game. Teams are unable to play an 8-in-the-box scheme because of the option and, so far, have been unable to stop the run. Dak has been stellar at converting the 3rd and manageable consistently. Having Romo in there might change their run success, it will be interesting to see,,, they'll be able to go 8-in-the-box but then Romo can make them pay by passing it. This might be the only reason to play Dak over Romo.
Where would you be without that lone season in 2014? And that was because of Murray.

And all for nothing.
No, it's won many championships for fantasy fans. Lol

Romo has been a personal highlite reel that has masked a poorly built team by Jerry for years.

But he's battered from the beating he's taken.

Bottom line even when we had a decent team he wasn't enough or didn't play his best games when we needed them the most.

I'm not blaming Romo for this era . But he's been part of it.

Challenge Mo to lock up Nelson. Zone up on Cobb and hope the front 6-7 can handle GB's rushing attack. We possibly will catch a break with Lacy not playing.

And all for nothing.

I know you blame Romo for not winning the super bowl every year not the Owner, GM or coaching for putting out the shabby defenses.

Read some of Percy's post about our D ranking in the Romo years vs Troy and Roger.

Do you also hate Danny White, Marino, Fran Tarkington, Archie Manning, Dan Fouts...etc.

Understand the concept of team sports? Or do you play tennis?

I truly believe we are going to give them a beat down this Sunday. Rogers and the Packers are not the team they used to be. We are better than 2014 team and we know that we were 2 plays from beating them in the playoffs. That Murray fumble was a killer, and would have scored., We are going to run all over them and I have a feeling Dak is going to push the ball down the field more. Look for Butler to have a big game.

I certainly hope you are right. This game has me very concerned. There is a reason we've lost 5 straight games to Green Bay. I would love nothing better than for the Boys to eke out a win, but I think it's going to be very tough.

34,000+ passing yards, 65.3 completion %, 247 TDs and a lifetime QBR of 97.4...Just about every Cowboy passing record.
Staubach had a horrible career rating to Romo. Who firkin cares but a bunch of fantasy fans?

This has been a passing era. Many are throwing outrageous numbers up there.

Old diehard fans don't care. And we'll throw Dak under the bus eventually if he can't win a championship too.

The bar was high until Romo came along. Now seasons like 2014 are the Holy Grail. Lol

Sorry,if I don't join in on the worship of Romo like I did Troy and Roger.

Your confusing hate with criticism. And all of those QB's except Archie at least led their team to championship games.

Archie is a great comparison though and one I've used many times . But we aren't the Saints. We don't worship QB's unless they lead us to championships.

I think back when we had a good team, he was young and thought he had many more shots at a title. After Wade was fired this team was never that good. I agree if it wasn't for him we wouldn't even been 8-8. Have to give him some blame for those division title game losses. I think the reason he played like that was because he knew the team wasn't that good and he always thought he had to do it himself.. Then we finally got an OL and a running game in 2014 and he showed what he could have been like. Unfortunately the FO decided to get rid of Murray and then Romo's health started deteriorating. My opinion of Romo over the years has been just like the team, up and down. When he first started playing for us, I loved him. Then after all those big time losses he would drive me crazy. In 2014 I loved him again. Now I just feel sorry for him. I'm thinking of what could have been.

I don't blame him. I blame Jerry for not creating a better team for him. But I'm not absolving Romo of blame in those games. And it has been a waste. I can care less about his Stats. So what if he owns every stat in Cowboy history. It'll get him in the ROH. It won't get him in the HOF which is where he should be going. And he should have been playing for Championships. 20 years from now nobody but Cowboy fans are even going to remember him.

And BTW I was a big Danny White fan. I supported him until the end. And now nobody barely talks about him.

To be honest I don't think it's going to come to that. I doubt he lasts the season.he's only played 4 games in two seasons and was hurt in 2 of them..

This statement is unfortunate....but evidence indicates it could well be true. I must say, given the state of the league, that the Dallas Cowboys holding two NFL starting caliber quarterbacks is a pretty good problem to have. I think Tony gets another shot at winning and we'll see how it goes.

I think he'll get another shot. They need to wait until he's totally healed. Best case is he retires after leading us to a SB title. That would be a great ending. Just don't think he's going to hold up though.
