Would you stop it with the first team defense being in there, it's not true.

I just rewatched the game this morning, and the Cards did in fact still have some starters on D when Romo first took the field.

Some is a far cry from, "He played against their first team his first series." ;)

Romo also was playing behind 2nd teamers.

Witten ain't a 2nd teamer, Johnson was our starting center last year, Morgan started last year part time, and Crayton spent time as our #3 WR.

I'll bet that everyone except Tucker makes the team who was out there with Romo.

The very first statement I ever made about it was "The cards still had some starters on the field during Romo's first series" so please, ****.

;)

Johnson was getting blown up by the cards backups in the 3rd quarter, so let's not act like he was an asset for anyone out there on saturday.

Morgan only started cuz of injury.

Crayton only played part time at #3 cuz of injury.

And why do you feel it necessary to pick apart every little thing Romo had going for him while he was in there? Oh yeah! Agenda!

Yes we know you like Henson, but is there anything wrong with both Henson AND Romo playing well? Can't a cowboys fan be happy BOTH of them played well instead of making it a point to give every little reason that one guy played better then the other? You aren't sitting in meetings with Bill Parcells so what's the point? Pointing out all these "Reasons" isn't gonna change Parcells mind about a thing, so really all it's doing is showing that you do, in fact, have an agenda.

Me? I hope they both excel. Tired of all this petty BS.

Me, I'm tired of people bringing up facts that are just opinion, and when someone states actual facts or accurate observations, they are told they have an agenda.

I'm tired of people having an agenda. You've had an agenda about one thing or another since you've been here. It's not hard to see. I guarantee most everyone here knows it.

 X 2.

Romo did have the best QB performance. Bledsoe was the worst. Wasn't Witten in there for Bledsoe too? If Witten doesn't get pulled mid-drive we score a TD there and we win the game plainly.

Nothing Nors stated was untrue. It wasn't even stated strongly.

Some of you guys would swear the sky was green if Nors said it was blue.

Henson has more potential and is clearly more gifted athletically but Romo is clearly performing better currently. I love all the folks who claim to know just how Romo would falter when playing 1st teamers while ignoring that Henson has been stinking versus any teamers at this time. I was quite pleasantly suprised by Henson after hearing really bad reviews from practice. He did have a few awful throws. Things that quacked, but he also had a couple of absolutely amazing passes. He just needs time to play and get his head around the game.

It rings quite loudly when one states another has an agenda then argues against basic facts.

BTW, having been to games in person, and watching them on tv, the tv gives you a better perspective most of the time. Unless of course you have been gifted with a great vantage point and eagle eyes you are not going to match the ability of all of those cameras to zoom in.

Al Singleton is small and was flat ran over a few times. That said, I think he is a better player than Bradie James who to me looks extremely stiff and doesnt get to the plays Singleton does. Burnett to me looks like our best LB. He is strong, aggressive and can move well. It is not a good sign for Singleton that he is competing with Burnett but this LB corps is not impressing and Singletom may be the most mistake-free guy we have so he should stick which I thought unlikely a month ago.

Jterrel - very nice post. And you hit the nail on the head in everything here. I really do enjoy reading your posts. You bring some really nice perspective to this board. Good, honest perspective.

It's refreshing that there are posters like you out there keeping it real ...

Why take anything away from Romo?

He played good ..

Henson showed some talent too, but almost threw and INT and got called for grounding (since you like to bring up the negatives).

But I was pleased with both of them ...

You're the one stating your observation about a warm up pass as fact ... and yes, you do have an agenda ...

Give Romo some credit ... I gave Henson some ...

I rewatched the game.....and I thought both backup QB's played well.....Bledsoe...well...if he continues to throw off his back foot....were in trouble.

Romo lob pass was nice...he put it where it should of been....his other throws were good and I didn't notice any less velocity then when Henson threw the ball.

That being said....Quncy Carter is better then both of them :)

And do we want a backup QB like that here?......Bledsoe will struggle......a vet QB will be brought in........ Book it!

I'm proud of my agenda, I've said it loud and clear what it is several times, and you should know what it is since you are part of the reason for it.

This was from my game recap:

Hos, Adbutcher and I had a blast, met up with fans from another board and they were a great bunch of guys.

Overall thoughts:

Bledsoe was awful, that ball patting was driving us crazy. His only good throw was on a pick play to Witten.

Romo out played Bledsoe, he made good reads and gets the ball away on time, but his arm is not even close to the Drews. He paired up with Witten and made a really nice touch pass over the defender.

Once again you make a broad accusation without a shread of truth behind it.

How about having the facts on your side before you call someone out.:jerk:

8-10 96 QB rating

6-13 and a 61 QB rating.

Sounds like you guys partied too hard! Or had an agenda

See Parcells PC today he talked about efficiency at QB.
Parcells also blasted the OLB's perforformance. So much for them flying around and making all the plays as you reported "being there"....Sounds like in pass coverage they screwed up and most that screw up on scoreboard was on the starters.......

yeah, I gave you credit for that post ... I replied to it ... and liked it ...

I'm talking about the spinning you're doing now, acting as if Henson outplayed everybody, when he did not ...

The broad accusation was in reference to your Henson agenda spinning in other threads ... and your one post giving Romo his due is shadowed by your unrealistic assesments of Henson and his performance ...

Bledsoe does concern me ... I agree on that ...

I see Henson as being a good #3 option though and am no longer concerned about bringing in another guy ...

I'm actually on the Henson development bandwagon ... as long as Romo gets an equal opportunity ... and Henson stays in the wings for a couple of years ... I do want to see him go to Europe though ... that could get him the experience he needs ...

It's just that right now, Romo is ahead of him ... you're not recognizing that because of your agenda for Henson ... I'm not trying to call you out or make it personal. I'm just saying that you're bending, stretching, spinning, twisting, denying things just to suit your agenda. That's where the broad accusaton comes from - only because it's so obvious.

I'm just asking you right now, to look at what is obvious ... last night Romo was #2 ... don't you think there is reason Parcells had him in there at #2?

Could be a coincidence - I admit ...

But the writing on the wall becomes clearer every day ...

Romo is making a separation from Henson ... you're just in denial about it ... and I see you spinning, spinning, spinning even though you did make one post about Romo doing ok ... but you can't be enough of a sport to admit that he did outplay Henson ... and sure he had better weapons etc ... but he outplayed him ...

The excuses just don't ever stop for Henson ... that's what irritates me the most.

Nope have a life and had a family vacation.

So because I was away, that didn't happen? I take your word that Romo sucked and Henson was a stud. Get a major ?

Fact is Romo played very good.... And Henson was good.

All my observations on stats spot on....
