I'd say anyone who agrees with the OP is rooting for us to lose. The title is an oxymoron. It doesn't matter what happens. If we bring in a new coach there is a good chance you guys will root for us to lose once again for your own happiness. That, in definition, is not a fan. The definition of sports fan - A person who is enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody. The definition of hater - a person who greatly dislikes a specified person or thing. What side of the fence are you on?

Interestingly, I'm kind of a hater of Dak Prescott, but never in my life will I hope for him to fail because he plays for a TEAM that I am enthusiastically devoted to. Big difference fellas. Answer this question for me what is the difference between wanting to lose games because of something you don't like about the team and an Eagles fan?

After being on the fence about Garrett over the past several seasons, I'm really just sick of looking at him. I don't care about the clapping. I don't care about the whole "puppet" narrative. I'm just sick of the monotone delivery week in and week out of "the process and RKG's." I think that was a good approach in the beginning but I think the players are sick of hearing about it as well.

At this point, I see us going 1 of 2 ways...we play well enough to maybe go 9-7 and have an outside chance to slip into the playoffs, giving Jerry just enough hope that maybe next year is the year, again...or the bottom falls out, we finish up 6 and 10 with no 1st round pick next year and he finally is out of rope.

I'll never root for our team to fail...but if it means an overhaul of the HC and maybe the offensive coordinator, I'm not going to mourn the loss of another season. I've seen enough of Garret to know what he is by now...average. In the realm of coaching he is JAG.

Like I said, I'm just sick of looking at him. Go bring the process to someone else and let them deal with it. We need a shot of adrenaline from hungry new coach.

Have you watched a Bill Belichick press conference?

It's time to move on from Garrett. A guy who should've never been hired in the first place. Doesn't make anyone a hater to want a better HC. Or in this case, anybody! You don't have to admit that Jerry's little experiment isn't working, but it's certainly a problem that 'some fans' would like to see fixed. Or at least see the front office attempt to fix it. No sense of urgency at all and it's pure crap from a front office who have been shovelin it for years.

By wanting the team to lose games because you don't like the head coach is the exact definition of a hater of the Dallas Cowboys. If you are in a room full of Giant, Commander and Eagle fans and they were all cheering that we just lost to the Titans on Monday. What is the difference between them being happy we lost and you being happy we lost? The only difference is they don't care about Jason Garrett as much as you. Other then that, everybody in the room is happy the Cowboys lost, you are just the only one trying to justify it.

It doesn't matter if I like Garrett or not. If I am always rooting against Jerry Jones and the head coaches/players/personnel he picks out then I'll probably never be rooting for the ones he picks out. Nothing I can do about any of it, all I can do is root to win football games...so that's what I'll do.

Should've happened years ago. The guys a turd and fans are just waiting for Jerry to see it. Time for a change whether you root for it or not. Have you been watching for 12 years? The guys a clown and I'm OK with anything that expedites his departure. In a scenario where Gerret's gone there is hope, but if he stays you have none. That's where this team currently resides no matter what fans do on gameday

Go to 8 Super Bowls and I won't care if he sounds like one of the damn Chipmunks.

My point is that your biggest complaint was for the only thing that Garrett does that is similar to Belichick...

Don't care how bad or good a draft could be. Never, ever, would ever root for the Cowboys to lose. Get out if you have this nonsense in your head. Cowboys fan for life.No matter how bad it gets, or is. Or was..

Note:.... This is only MY opinion. I don't need the hurt salty ones in here yelling at me that I am telling them to leave.

The fact that some of you assume Garrett to be an average coach is mind blowing.

Bro went like what? 1-12 without Romo in 2015? His sorry *** has been propped up by supreme talent, and it's all be flat lined this season.

The bottom is so much closer to falling out than many realize. We just traded a 1st for a WR...we're dangerously close to a 3-13 or 4-12 team with a few key losses.

I'm fairly sure no matter who we bring in you will complain about him because Jerry is the one who picked him. I don't care if Garrett gets fired, it wouldn't effect me at all. I just want to win football games regardless of who's on the sidelines. So instead of hating something I have no say in, I'll instead choose to do something I do have control in. Root for my team to win. The weeks are much better after a Cowboys win. Don't care who's on the sidelines or on the field when it happens.

Like when they won 6-0? That really paid off. Every year is about making the postseason, if you don't do that it becomes about doing it next year. Improving your chances. Like 2010 and how they won for pride. lol It's pure crap when there's nothing to build on. Cause in 2011 they still sucked. Same in 2012 and 2013. That's a problem and it's ongoing.

The problem with Garrett is Jerry seems married to this situation. Like he hired a long lost stepson who he wants so badly to succeed. That won't be the case moving forward. He can't get away soon enough. I don't care who gets hired after that. But you can bet he won't be on the dozen year plan and counting. Shorter leash, higher expectations.

Yea, like when they won 6-0... Or, if they win 2-0. or, 3 -0.. You get the idea. You never shelf a season for a draft pick.. That is a quitter mentality.

They aren't doing crap this season. This is obvious. Doesn't mean I hope they roll over to get a better pick..

That , crap, they will probably dwindle it away on another 'project" or trade it. lol

If I had a coach Bill Belichek coaching my team he could do press conferences naked doing the chicken dance for all I care.

Instead we have..................................................................................Jason Garrett.

Yuck.

You don't do it in week 9 but in week 17 it should certainly be on the agenda when you have zero shot at winning anything. I put more stock in the team improving than I do in winning crap football games which is basically what those are. You're already cleaning out your locker afterwards no matter what. Why are you in that position and what can be done to improve it? Because making those improvements are a constant cycle and winning those type of games have amounted to absolutely nothing.

Are you not a fan if you want them to lose meaningless games, so that next year they can win important games? I never want them to lose, but there comes a point when losing becomes much less disappointing.

You really need to take some time and go back and read my post and point out for me where I said I wanted us to lose. Or that I was rooting for us to lose. Or any variation of that. The closest you will come is you will see that I said I will not mourn the loss of a season if things don't end up going our way and Garrett is canned.

If you take the time to read it you will see that I'm not rooting for the team to lose. I'm only rooting for them not to win just enough 8-8, 9-7 so that Garrett gets another pass and we continue on in mediocrity. This team is too talented and he has had more than enough time to deliver something substantial.
