According to a poster in another forum:

I heard a rumor that Snyder is considering a move back to the site wher RFK Stadium is currently and replacing RFK with a new Commanders Stadium. The rumors also say that it will not happen until The Nationals move to their new Stadium nearby.

Is Snyder mentally sick or something?

Uh...this is a Cowboy site, duh....!

5 - 11 baby...sleep on that!

Hey, someone told me a joke.

What does a puppy and a RedStink fan have in common?

***

After a week, the puppy stops whining!

:laugh2:

I don't even see how last years record is relevant seeing as how we split and both had the same number of playoff wins.

Then how is he going to get his domed stadium?

Build a new one at what cost? And location in the overcrowd D.C. area?

Inflatable roof. He was on ES talking about this very concept before last season.

Yeah that's the problem. The logistics of adding an inflatible dome are no little speed bump. It's a major undertaking.

You guys act as if the Danny had no aspirations to host the SB until JJ did it. You're only fooling yourselves. Danny and JJ are pretty good friends outside of twice a year.

Here's the only inflatible Danny will ever have.

Well, don't you think that "bright boy" Midget should have taken that into consideration a long time ago, huh?

Of course they are friends! I have friends that I like to laugh at too!!

When he bought the team the stadium was already built. Like I said, he's looking into options and has been. Most Commanders fans would be against a regular dome stadium, and I guarantee you if the inflatible roof thing becomes too much of a problem then he'll look into building a stadium with a retractable roof.

I'm not sitting here bragging about anything, I'm just saying, Dan Snyder wants to host a SB and will more than likely get his way sooner or later.

Beating the Cowboys is what you knuckleheads live for! That's all you got!

2 - 14 and if both games are won against the Cowboys...to you suckers, that is a good season!

Yeah, well i didn't bring up the 5-11 record as if it was relevant to the topic, but since it was brought up, it was more than pertinant to mention the fact that you only beat us once, even though we were totally abysmal for the most part last season.

Feel free to stay on topic next time.

We're more likely go that the Boys considering our repective playoff records recently.

What? You mean making the playoffs once every 6 or 7 seasons? And squeaking out one measly playoff win? 1992, 1999, 2005....guess 2011 is your time, but then you'd be a year too late to be playing in a SB in Dallas cause the 2011 SB will be held in February and that counts as the 2010 season. Then again, if you do even make the playoffs, it will probably be at best one playoff win.

Well let's see...how long has JJ owned his stadium in a WARM weather climate before he got a chance to host one?

Danny owns a COLD weather stadium.

Regardless, though, we both know he'll get to host one.

After what the Nationals went thru for their stadium DC will fight to have another stadium built, especially in a city that is running out of space. What the the current stadium is what 10-15 years old and still viable for a couple more decades, but the traffic problem would be a catastrophe the only high volume way to the stadium is off the beltway, people would get shot during the traffic snarl this would cause.

That's nice and all, but we've had 2 playoff wins since 99. How many wins have you had? whoops!

I dunno about traffic there. I live in CenTex. I'm sure something could be figured out. Maybe limit the sales of bullets for a year prior? :)

Here is the difference between RedStinks thoughts and Cowboy thoughts. Live and learn...take your little playoffs into the bathroom and flush them down the toilet!

"The last playoff game we won was Super Bowl XXX, so that’s what I think about, and that kind of reflects my philosophy,” said Jones, sitting in his office, where the franchise’s five Super Bowl trophies are prominently displayed. “I don’t live my days walking around here, singing the blues about not winning a playoff game in 10 years. I walk around singing the blues that I haven’t won a Super Bowl in 10 years.”
