Well you're the one claiming the Skins are closer to SB status than the Cowboys are for winning wild card playoff games. I'm just here to tell you that you're not, and coming off last season, Dallas is closer cause of a winning record and most of the young players returning, and maturing another year. How bout you?

The same. We had an off year. We'll be back. No Brunell to keep us from scoring points. No Archuletta. London Fletcher in the middle, improved secondary. Healthy Portis (not that Betts is chopped liver).

I like our chances.

Maybe you should go back and see how you guys bragged about playoff "appearances". Let alone wins, because there aren't any to speak of.

You need to put a little more effort into your posts.

You need to put a little more effort into realizing your team sucks right now!

No Dline, and no depth, a 2nd year QB who looks pretty average, and no real money to go get some help. Your coach looks totally lost on the field, has no friggen clue what to do, you guys never have drafts that are worth a crap...man this could go on and on and on...

5 - 11 baby...repeat after me! 5 and 11

u are so full of crap, the face mask was not even grabbed. the hand swiped across it. I am not saying it was a 5 yd penalty simply as a Cowboys homer....I am also not the only one who has this take. Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Jimmy Johnson all felt it was a 5 yd penalty. I also recall the announcers of the game claiming the same thing, stating that the penalty didn't look like a 15 yd personal foul.

A swipe doesn't jerk a players helmet half way around. Go watch the replay. It's a 15 yarder all day.

Wow, are you and HH31 related?

We're such a big mess that we still managed to beat you last year while we stunk up the joint.

The year before that we SWEPT you and embarrassed you the second go round. That was after all the smack talk about hail mary's and how it would be different the second game.

Please, do go on though, I love a good humorous post.

If you're referring to the 63 yards he gained against us in 04 with no TD's, then I guess you really have a weird definition of "torched"

Well he did burn Smoot for a 29 yard TD in Thanksgiving of 2002. Then he had a 7 catch 170 yard game in the 2nd meeting in the season finale at FedEX. And then yes that highlight reel circus catch in that MNF game in 2004 where he had only "63 yards" and getting 63 yards on 3 receptions, would mean average 21 yards a reception. I would definitely define that as getting "torched." I'm not the only one in here who knows Smoot was AB's biznatch in his short tenure year.

Have a laugh at this! 5 - 11 baby!

That is who you are RIGHT NOW. Nevermind all the past crap and I will to. Just get it through you little head that you are what you are!

Five and eleven!

Smile, you are on Candid Camera!

:laugh2:

Sure they have. Healthy Springs. Landry in place of Arch and whatever warm body we found. Rogers is working on not dropping 90% of the balls he could have caught and Smoot and Macklin in place of Wright and Rumph.

You can bring up Smoot sucking in Minn, because, well, he did. But last time he paired up with Springs we had the best one-two CB tandem in the league. I think Smoot gave up like one TD all year.

what? no mention of your defensive savior Sean Taylor?

So now you throw Brunell under a bus after praising his graces 2 years ago for beating Dallas twice that year and leading you to a playoff appearance for the first time in 6 years (and a playoff win too! yippee!). Heck, he was the QB who "beat Dallas 1 game" last year.

Last article I read about Portis was he was having knee problems, and how bout the D-line? Can they put pressure on the QB?

I don't think anything prior to 2004 is relevant seeing as how he had different teammates and was in a different defensive scheme.

63 yards with a long of 48 isn't getting torched. I don't care how you slice it.
That means his other two catches were an average of 7.5 yards. Please, those types of catches happen all the time. Look how many times Toomer torched Bailey while he was here. Does that mean Bailey sucks?

Besides, unless you bring AB back twice a year, I don't really see any relevance to next season.

Right We got guys like Owens, Glenn, Crayton.....I mean those guys aren't nowhere near as good as AB.

.

Well sure it is, since you bring up playoff wins from 1999.

The Dline didn't get to the QB in 04 or o5 (well except maybe that second Cowboys game :) ). The pressure has always come from the back 7. I can link you to stats if you want, but it's the truth.

I never sang praises of Brunell last year. He was just terrible and it was painfully obvious he was done during the first Cowboys game. He looked terrible.

Portis is on track to be healthy by TC. His knee problem is considered minor.

I like Campbell. He showed progress in every start and you can't knock a guy who threw at least one TD in every start and had a 10/6 ratio.

post the video if you are so sure it was a 15 yd penalty.....

I know after seeing the replay over and over when it happened, it should have been a 5 yder.....and like I said, the analysts also said it should have been a 5 yder.

irregardless, you missed the point of my post.....if not for the 2 pt attempt, the whole FG scenario is nonexistent.

Right. Nice logic.

I know :)

And since Smoot was in a different scheme before 2004. I guess what Dallas has done the last couple years is irrelevant since they're in a different scheme now under Wade Phillips.

Heckuva lot of good they did you the second game of last year. Not that it has anything to do with Smoot.

TO hasn't done so well against us, historically.

I'll be back in a few guys. Gonna go look for some facemask footage or stills.

i want the video not stills........photos can be deceptive based on the angles.....just like that glenn fumble against Seattle in the playoffs.....BTW, if you actually watch the video in slow motion of that play, it could have been called an incomplete pass, as the ball hits the ground and Glenn doesn't have possession of it.....but I can see how the refs called it a completion, fumble, and safety

But Glenn and Crayton have. And why do you keep living off that one game? How bout the first game where Glenn and Crayton torched you guys so bad, we didn't even need owens.
