actually i would not look at that as the defensive player causing the twisting. the defender didnt yank on his facemask. his head twisted because of his trajectory. had the defender tried to clutch and pull it would have been a lot less pretty.

Yeah but intentions don't matter. The rules are pretty clear on the subject. I doubt he could have pulled Taylor down anyway, The contact was split second and the defender really had a bad angle. He was reaching out in desperation.

im not talking about intentions. im talking about who caused the twisting. if the defender grasps his facemask and the offensvie player turns his head on his own that is not a 15 yarder. Taylor caused the twisting not the defender.

As for who is more likely to go to the superbowl look no farther than last years records. past performance is the best indicator of future performance. 2 more wins and we get a playoff bye. You guys would need 4 more wins just to get a wildcard spot. You can be a homer all you want but wins are wins.

As for your team i would be really concerned about your teams cohesivenes. You have two leaders in your secondary not even shoing up to practicce with aleader on your defensive line encouraging his teammates to work less. You have Portis going on national televisoin and alienating the franchise. This is all before you look at problem areas like the interior of your offensvie line, your entire defensive line, and your corners.

Sorry but the Commanders are not looking good at all. I just laughed when i heard that Gibbs had caved into Phillip 'Scrub' Daniels.

noone's saying it's Portis' fault, we're saying that the call should have been a 5-yard penalty as the Dallas player only grabs his facemask because the twisting is caused by Taylor's own momentum

the defender never actually clutched at his facemask. had he had a grasp on it then taylor would have been yanked around. the dfender did not cause the twisting it was incidental. Had Taylor not been moving there would have been no twist. sorry if you are too obtuse to grasp the concept.

and i remember the Campo era when we beat you something in the neighborhood of 13 times in a row. in the end it amounted to nothing. fact is the Commanders were a lousy team last year, have more contention in the lockerroom and with the coaches this year and just about the same amount of talent.

The only hope you have is that Campbell can somehow go from bad to allpro in one offseason and you might have an outside shot at the playoffs if your defense doesnt implode. This is Gibbs last year and after Snyders recent record with coaches like Turner, Shottenheimer and Spurrier noone is going to want to coach for him.

You were the 6th worst team in profootball last year. You will be lucky if you get out of the bottom 10. Whats funny is well still probably pick higher in the draft than you guys. As bad as you guys are the Browns are worse.
