If we stay healthy I do not see why we can control home field advantage in the playoffs.

Yeah and it's not that we have to necessarily win out to get HFA but it's the only way it's guaranteed right now, but obviously other teams we're in competition with will probably add losses too. I think vs Minnesota will be huge.

Yes we have control of our own destiny. I could see us beating any of those teams bout I could also see most of those teams beating us as well. If Philly beats us they go to the top of the standings next week in the NFC EAST so we need to take care of business there. It's not a "must win" per se, but it is a DAMN BIG GAME. If we beat Phiily we gain some space against Philly in the NFC East race. We have to win that one first.

 

[Verdict]

Arizona, Seattle, Minnesota, and possibly even the Giant and Commanders potentially all have better defenses than us. We may not be in our game every week. I would sure like to see our defense pick it up the rest of the way and increase our margin for error.

The one ace in the hole we have if the OL and the running game. It is hard to shut that down.

While I understand your enthusiasm, being excited about the No. 1 seeding now is meaningless.
