I am going to be naughty and enjoy this number 1 seeding this week.
Only if you choose to make it meaningless.
You mean you didn't think about marriage with your first girlfriend? Come on now ..... Come clean my friend!!
live and work in the DMV as well, all Skins fans at work are REALLY quiet today. All I know is that I live and work in hardcore skins country (DC), and today I can say to my fellow cow-orker skins fan, "Hey buddy, you're looking kind of glum today." Cow-orker: " Yeah..... rough day yesterday" Me: "Yeah, I'm feeling a little out of sorts as well. Think I'll go look at the NFL standings to cheer up" lolol
I get that, and largely agree. The situation appeared to be a fan showing excitement by saying "It feels great, if the playoffs started today, we'd be the number 1 seed! That's how well we are doing!"; and the response to him is "Well shut-up, its not the end of the season."No, that's not it. Seeding comes near the end of the season and pertains to the playoffs.
If we were 1-5, we wouldn't be needing to talk about seeding because it wouldn't be certain we'd even make the playoffs.
Second, few, if any, here are trying to temperor enthusiasm. All of us appear to be enthusiast. But talking about seeding is premature. It's like being an elementary student who gets a girlfriend for the first time and talking about marriage. There are too many years, too many girls, too many changes with you and her to be talking about marriage.
That's right, take a look at the standings, your Dallas Cowboys are the #1 seed in the NFC.
Woot, woot!
Call me on December 27th.
Let's just say that up to now all the stars in the universe are lining up for us. I love what I am seeing with this team and the potential is there to do great things this year. However, there is a lot of football left and potential injuries is what concerns me the most on where we have to get to.

For sure, rat, but rejoice! Number 1 seed lol
I'm confused. The Cowboys and Vikings are tied with the best conference record at 5-1. Both have lost to an NFC opponent, but the Cowboys loss was to a division opponent whereas the Vikings' loss wasn't. Doesn't that give the tie-breaker #1 seed to the Vikings? I'm just curious. It's way too early to be thinking about this. We just need to play well on Sunday night against the Eagles.

Who is the best Calvin alter ego?Only if you choose to make it meaningless.

We did all that "wait till the end of the season to get hype" in 2014. I don't want to deal with that again. As we know, these great winning streaks and seasons don't happen often, so lets enjoy the ride. If a few happy fans get extreme, so be it, they've been shouted down for quite sometime as it is, LOL.
Remember how when Romo first took over for Bledsoe, even when it was 3rd and 17 you just felt like he could engineer a play so you weren't that worried about it? I finally feel like that again myself with Dak and Zeke. Probably would feel the same way when/if Romo comes back, but you are right the offense feels like a well oiled machine. And I've been one of those shouting down.
Whats different about this Cowboy team that gives me so much confidence.. We have something you just can't stop.
It's not like a great passing attack that requires rhythm.
Our gameplan is to lineup and run it down your throat and we are soooooo good at it that it forces you to sell out on it to try to stop it and then the passing game just becomes too easy.
Also.. Zeke Elliot is a champion and he will show that if we get him to the post season.
Ezekiel Elliot is a big game player as seen in College when he took over games against Alabama and Oregon and won his team a National title when nobody expected it.
Get excited folks..
