IIRC, no team that has gone seven games in both of the first two rounds has ever made it to the Finals. Fatigue takes over.

They mentioned during the broadcast last night that the Rangers were playing their ninth game in fifteen days. HOLY CRAP! That is a lot of hockey in a short span.

And LOL at the "greatest hockey player in the world" coming up small yet again.

freakin choke artist Penguins......I am so pissed at the outcome of this series. There is no excuse to blow a 3-1 series lead.......they gave away game 1....they dominated the next 3 games. Then, they are only able to score 3 goals the last 3 games, while giving up 10......Bylsma is gone. His teams have totally underachieved in the playoffs since winning the Cup. Fleury is to erratic. Since coming back from that bad concussion that kept him out or a large part of the season last year or the year before, Crosby is not the same player (especially scoring goals).

oh well.....on to next season...GO PENS

My boys are now halfway to the goal and a 25th cup.

We have home ice advantage against the Rangers which is nice. The Bell Centre in the playoffs has been known to make people deaf. First game Saturday at 10:00am PT

The Penguins did not "dominate" Game 3. The Rangers had 2 posts and a crossbar in that game and were most certainly not dominated. After an embarrassing Rangers performance in Game 4, Crosby and his band of chokers lost 3 straight to the Hank-led Rangers. Malkin is a man. That guy brings it. Sidney, for all his talent, is a whiney, little, female dog. Montreal will be tough, but Lundqvist gives the Rangers a chance against anyone.

I don't think anybody outside of Pitts actually likes him. For all the attention the Henrik squirt got, very people showed Crosby's slewfoot of Girardi or the stick between Moore's legs beforehand.

As for Montreal, I like the Rangers odds against them a lot more than I like their chances against Boston. Blue line depth heavily favors the Rangers.

As does Carey Price.

I don't think Montreal has ANY answer for Kreider.

If the Rangers continue to play fast, this series could be over quickly.

Having said that, MTL is a pesky team, and is far more effective when they play that way. I think they bought into all of the bs some of the hockey writers were saying about them.

Kreider's combination of size and speed is something this team has desperately needed. His return has been a big part of why they have now won 4 in a row IMO. Now we'll have to see if they can FINALLY extend a lead in a playoff series. That streak is as ridiculous as their power play numbers were going into yesterday's game.

Price is likely injured as a result Kreider slamming into him skate first. If he isnt 100% or can't play Rangers win by default.

Of course if people didn't just try to score cheap points, they would understand I meant over a 7 game series, teams that played more before tend to be tired, but why let the facts get in the way of an attempted point.

Dude, it was a joke. That's why I put the wink in there.

Throughout the year, I never thought of the Rangers as a cup contender, even when they were playing well. Now, with Hank on fire, its hard not to see it.

And fwiw, I'd rather play the Hawks than the Kings. Rangers deal with skill a lot better than they do grinders.

I feel the same way.
