I do wish the Rangers would stop the cheesy relying on St louis's dead mom. It was sad for him but she is not the reason they have won five in a row.

My boys pulled it out last night so at least the series will go to five games. Stepan allegedly has a broken jaw from Prust's hit (even though he came back and played all game and was able to mouth at the refs and Prust).

Rangers now down two centres. Almost offsets what Kreider did to Price.

You think Kreider sliding into Price was intentional?

LOL

Anyone who plays hockey knows you never go into anyone skate first. He also has a nasty habit of taking out goalies, Anderson, nailed Fleury, took out Price, bowled Tokarski over last night. He made no effort not to go skate first. He never even said he didn't intend to do what he did, he said, well I must be doing something right to be booed and said that his only regret is that he didn't score.

I wish Prust had nailed him and not Stepan.

Personally, I don't think he intended to hurt Price. That's my opinion. Prust's hit was flat out dirty. Unlike Kreider's out of control slide into Price, there's no question that Prust's jaw-breaking move was dirty. I'm not sure how much of a difference Price would've made thus far in the series anyway. The first game was just a total destruction of the Habs. The second game, Montreal played their best game but met a goalie who played amazingly well and stopped 40 shots. If anything, Price's injury may have caused them to pick up their game. Tokarski was not bad at all. In Game 3, Tokarski made game-saving saves. Prust's hit and the ref's no call led to Carcillo's actions. Not that shoving the ref is excusable, but none of that crap would've happened if Prust didn't pull his nonsense. I never hated the Canadiens but now, after all the whining their fans and coach are doing, I can't stand them. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!

you just tried to excuse Carcillo's action

as for whining, what about all the whining over Stepan, even that goof Chrissy Kreider weighed in. Given what he does to goalies, he really should keep his mouth shut.

Lol. One bright side of the Habs making it to the ECF is more people get to see what they really are about.

I said what Carcillo did was inexcusable. I think complaining about a blatant cheap shot that resulted in a broken jaw is justified. I understand being upset about Price's injury, but it was not blatant. It was borderline and did not result in a penalty or suspension. At least Brassard could be returning, so that's one center back. As far as "Chrissy Kreider", I'm sure the Habs wish he was on their team.

Delicious irony re Ranger whining about referreeing after the refs game them 7-8 power plays in game 1 and the power play when Zuccarello fell on his own in game 2 turning a 2-1 game into a 3-1 game.

Even your own coach said the penalties were legit.

You should also be worried about a 3-1 series lead, remember what happened to the 3-1 deficit you faced last series.

Kreider did his job, took out Price in game 1. Hasn't done much since.

Kreider's certainly done more than the mighty Subban this series. If it wasn't for his one shot yesterday, Subban would have done ABSOLUTELY nothing except commit stupid penalties, get beat, and commit penalties that weren't called for some reason. Many of the Rangers penalties were legit, but the refs seem to keep missing the Canadiens penalties time and time again. The Habs embellishing is an embarrassment. Subban leaping in the air, then the play behind the net where the stick touched the player's CHEST and he acts like he got shot in the face. Nothing gets called on them of course. I guess that's what they need to resort to at this point. I feel pretty good about our chances, especially if Subban continues to do so little and your goalie keeps giving up rebounds. I'd certainly be more worried about being down 3-1 if I were you. As far as your repeated complaints about Kreider, it's not like he wasn't touched and flew in skates-first to injure the goalie. If that was the case, he would've been suspended (like Prust with his dirty play). I guess your coach's knowledge (and moronic comments) about Brassard's injury didn't matter because he looked pretty good slapping that shot past Tokarski didn't he?

Why are you comparing Kreider to Subban? They don't even play the same position.

Ridiculous comparison.

Way it's shaping up to be although both these series aren't done yet and anything can happen...Lundqvist vs Quick would be a war.

Disagree. They were playing like amateur team the game before she passed. They had nothing.

And... I don't think cheesy is the word to use. Inspiration is a good word.

I think rather than inspired, I would say it galvanized them in a way.

The funny thing is, you never know what will bring a team together and help push them to the next level. It can be almost anything, this year, it seems like it was the passing of St. Louis' mother.

I doubt either the Canadiens or the Rangers will beat the Kings who look unbeatable. To think the Sharks had them 3-0

Good word. Still think it's inspired. :)

Not a rangers fan but I like that they are doing what they are doing.
Enjoying watching the Canadian fans whine. Lol
