OC? DC? QB Coach? Who? When?

Sure they are.

The problem exists in how much you are telling people they need to heed your thoughts when you have done little to defend them.

Repetitive theme threads combined with the hollow thump of the chest quickly turns people off.
Okay then, I'll try to keep that in mind.

Feel free to jump into discussions in threads beyond those created by you and your tag team partner The Prophet.

There is a wealth of football knowledge on this forum. Open your mind and you might learn some things. Right now your mind is absolutely closed. In your opinion you know more than everyone else and they should listen to you.

It has turned people off. Once they are turned off, they turn on you. Not just this forum...everywhere.

This is exactly what I meant.

A new way to spin the same topic. You're going to get skewered for it.

Oh well...
Really? I thought it was timely in light of the Turner hiring and that the Bears will apparently let Rivera go. In no way did I try to impose MY opinion on anybody. As the landscape changes, I like to hear everyone's opinion, I find it interesting. Perhaps I'll stick to chiming in instead of starting threads for a while. I'll get it right. LOL

It's a quote from the movie Jarhead and it's for when someone posts a TO thread. If you respond to it you get sucked in like Parcells said. :D

I haven't even read that thread. You tell me. Was I right? I'll bet you dinner I am. You tell me. I won't look.

Bill Cosby once said, "you never get a 2nd chance to make a good first impression."

The first impression you made here was that you knew which coaching decisions this team should go with. People tried to discuss this with you and you got beligerant. In particular to anyone who did not want Bob Stoops. It excalated to personal real quick.

The impression continues to be that you want to complain about the coaching in Dallas. Starting new threads is only going to keep the perception going.

As I said earlier, respond in threads beyond those you or The Prophet start. You guys are so busy congratulating each other on great thoughts that people are getting fed up.

It's like you showed up here expecting to be annointed the ultimate authorities and neither of you will respond when challenged beyond guarantees of your superiority. It will never fly here. If you truly are superior hollow claims won't prove it.

As you have pointed out, on the Internet you can be anything. Yeah, you can, but when you can't back it up, you're going to get a load of grief in your lap. That philosophy hasn't helped your credibility.

Just food for thought. Advice is given out by the bucket and taken by the eye dropper. Do with my advice as you see fit.

I only got snippy when attacked, I'll try to have a thicker skin going forward. I do, however, feel I have backed up my points of view. I am opinionated, just like most here are, I do not feel superior to others here. I am passionate about the team and only want success. The Cowboys have been frustrating for a long time now. Thanks.
