If we're up by 21, then I can eat during the game. But if we start losing the lead, it quickly turns into drinking!!

Didn't the Cowboys play the noon game one time here recently? I remember being appalled about it because it messed up my Turkey Day routine.

I can't remember when they did not play at 3:30. It has not been recent times.

Yeah I could have just imagined it.. considering I lived in Cali for 30 years.. and it was always the "afternoon" game out there too. The one that I absolutely DO remember was the 2014 game against Philly because it followed the Sunday Night game at the Giants that went into OT.. The game ended after midnight eastern and I think the Cowboys got back to Dallas at like 6 am central. I remember immediately thinking how unfair that was and how bad I expected them to look on Thanksgiving 3 days later.. and I was completely wrong.. They looked worse than I thought they would. I'm glad Jerry at least stopped them from putting the guys through THAT nonsense again. And at least this year they don't have the back to back Thursday two step either.. So it's back to closer to normal. I still say Jerry needs to put his foot down and demand to be at home the Sunday before Thanksgiving too or he will refuse to play it anymore. Put it back in the rotation and make every team cycle through it. We all know how much the networks loved it the last time they took the game away from the Cowboys..

Eat a small plate before since we host and I’m generally buzzing by than. I than wait for the boring people to leave in the family who don’t like football leave and than continue drinking until the game is over. Than I eat the best meal which to me is always the leftovers! Thanksgiving leftovers are the best!

High noon. Eating, cleaning, and toilet time is reserved for the Lions game. If you can't get it eaten and to the couch in 3.5 hours your not welcome. Post game is reserved for heavy drinking, turkey and hot mustard sandwiches, deviled eggs, and dressing waffles.

Whether at my place, having the celebration with friends in metro Atlanta, or returning to San Antonio for Thanksgiving with relatives - the holiday feast has mostly been served between 1 and 2pm.
