Before and after. I love my own cooking.:yourock:
'Boyzmamacita': Over the years, I've encountered a number of people - relatives, friends, coworkers, acquaintances - that go all out in preparing a grand and sumptuious holiday feast...but they don't relax, sit down, and enjoy the lavish fruits of their labor (male/female, different races/ ethnicities).
Do you /have you known individuals like that?

No, it has varied by over 1.5 hours with regards to start time over the years.

It's always the late afternoon game but start time has varied.
X, relax bro and have some extras on turkey day, second helpings and dessert as well.
I always love your takes, but just want to see you enjoy this turkey day when we destroy the Giants.

I eat whenever the food is ready, so I will watch the game up to and after, but not during. I also don't rush my family time for a football game. Other than that, great day for football.

Sunday (and holiday) dinner is at 3 o clock. Nothing on television changes that important time with family.

My mom was like that, but I cook a big meal for everybody and I enjoy it as much as anybody. And when the game comes on, they all know to leave me alone!:D

Before then head to the game. By the time it’s over and we get back home it’s time to eat again it’s our favorite game of the year. Great memories, family and the Cowboys what more could anyone ask from the good Lord.

Since I’m not the one cooking I eat when it’s done. Whenever that might be.

Usually during the game.

Now I got a question - do you guys eat the turkey neck?
The neck WAS OFF LIMIITS.
Mom used it to enhance the gravy.
But NO ONE ELSE could partake in her delicacy.
(The same went for chicken - or any other bird.
I believe she had a fowl fetish.)
