Well said. It is quite annoying that some around here just seem to love bashing others for the sport of it. My thought is that they should be dealt with accordingly as this is trollish behavior.

You're suicidal, and that makes me sad. :(

I can now confirm from someone I spoke with in NE that this is 100 percent true. If it's not announced that Thomas signs with the Pats, I'll never post on this board again as long as I live. The deal is done, he's a Patriot. I don't know how much clearer I can be about it.

Doom, YOU ROCK!!! Keep it up. Don't let the haters keep you down.

I hate to hear this news. The Pats are very close to having won several SBs in a row. This just makes them a much better team.

THOMAS TO VISIT NINERS, PATS

Don Banks of SI.com reports that linebacker Adalius Thomas will visit the 49ers and the Patriots. The visits will start as soon as Saturday.

Banks says that the Niners are expected to offer more than $8 million per year, and that the Pats will come in with less money, but with a greater chance to deliver a Super Bowl championship.

Thomas to the 49ers!

UNPOSSIBLE!

This poster has already told us that his inside sources have confirmed that Thomas to the Pats is a done deal. If he has already signed with the Pats, why would he be visiting the 49ers??!!!?

from that report that seems like the real patriots talking. offering less and talking to the player to convince him to sign cheap for the possibility of a ring. and when he gets that ring he'll be stunk in a bad contract for him, that the patriots will never renegotiate and release him after about 3 yrs.

I guess it all comes down to money VS a ring.

i say he goes with the money. in a couple yrs the niners are going to be serious contenders. the got something good and young going on there. smith, gore, davis are going to carry this team. if they wanted to trade up for a guy like calvin, teams better watch out

I am not sold on their QB yet; and they still need a lot more pieces. I don't see them ready to make a real run for at least 2-3 years- maybe 4. That a long time to wait- and Thomas is not that young anyway.

Aaaaaaaaaand it's official.

The Pats will once again be a scary friggin team next year.

Who says you can't have quality, dynastic teams in this NFL?
