I'll believe it when I see it. So far Romo's nothing more than a big tease.

The refs treated this game like it was a Steeler Super Bowl game.

What calls do you have problems with?

For a game with 7 total penalties, there sure is a lot of *****ing about the officiating.

Was it me, or did it look like Big Ben was a good 2 yards short on that 3rd down run? They gave him a VERY favorable spot!

I will say to you, Twentyone, and others who want to jump off the Romo bandwagon, there is NO GETTING BACK ON! It is a one-way trip. . .

The door is that'a way >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sorry guys but Romo < Danny White. Danny White choked in Championship games and that is debatable. Romo's peak is Thanksgiving and after that, it's all too big for him. Danny was a better QB up until this point as far as getting to the ultimate goal. Romo has the makings of a 3rd December choke job on his hands and our schedule doesn't get any easier. So right now Romo isn't even close to Danny White 2.0, sad thing is many would ACCEPT that mediocrity for long term. Just plain sad..

lol I don't know about two yards but yeah he looked short. the ref picked the ball up by his left foot and placed it by his right.

The officiating was pretty good today....but the mistakes, two of them, came at very inopportune times for the Cowboys. It sucks.

Yeah, because conspiracies and dishonesty never happens in this ideal world where millions of dollars are exchanged in gambling.

Wait, what happened in the NBA again?

Ah, using a conspiracy in another field to validate one's opinion as proof.

Gotcha.

The problem with Romo is consistency. The 300 yard 3 TD games mean nothing come playoff time if you blow it the next time you step out on the field. The playoffs are single elimination. There is just absolutely no room to be making bone headed mistakes with the game on the line.

Romo's decision making and ability to read defenses actually remind me more of Quincy. Romo's clearly better overall, but his ability to sit in the pocket and make quick reads is below average at best. His forte is shaking defenders and waiting for the defense to break down, or hitting one of our very talented WR's when they've broken free. Problem is, the better and smarter defenses are going to limit those opportunities. He also doesn't have the arm strength to compensate for poor reads. If he makes a bad read, a defender is going to have an easy shot at it.

Overall, he's a solid QB, and he'll be a good "bridge" to the next franchise quarterback (meaning Dallas will always be competitive and in playoff contention), but he's too scatterbrained to be counted on for any significant post-December success. I hope it happens, I hope he improves - but he really hasn't improved much the last few years - and I don't this zebra is going to change his stripes.

Yeah, it's amazing how they didn't even consider where his knee hit the ground and where the ball actually was when it did.

Yeah, last year I just had an A-Ha moment and felt like I did when they told me the WWF wasn't real when I was in 4th grade.

Sometimes, it is still fun to get caught up in it though, and I watched the whole game today :)

Gotcha.

Not as proof. And not as evidence either. Just a gut instinct.

Perhaps you can go back to supporting how the Pats didn't really cheat and Goodell actually burning evidence wasn't a conspiracy either.

quit making excuses for romo

I am not making excuses for him, hell, if you look at his play in crucial situations and you think, as I do, that certain elements 'fix' at least some games, I would say he is in on it.

Romo's brain is what the problem is. The TD to TO was just tossed up and the WR made a great play. That could have been picked as well if the Stooler had turned around.

The real pick that was tossed to TO was imbecilic because he wasn't open. But what made it worse it that:

1. He underthrew the ball

and...

2. He had time and if he waited TO was getting behind the defender.

The gunslinger aspect to Romo that so many appreciated is the problem.

It's his brain. Not his finger.

I'm sure you'd know imbecilic when you see it...

No, it was a perfect throw. It was high and a tight spiral, placed exactly where it had to be. You can say he got lucky to throw such a perfect ball, but you can't say it was just tossed up. That's silly.
