White also threw big touchdowns in big games...Romo has yet to do that, so at this point to White is the better QB. Romo is too quick to just chuck the ball down the field and until he learns to control the urge to throw into 3 defenders, we will continue to stumble in December and the playoffs. Super Bowl winning teams do not turn the ball over 3 to 4 times in a half. They control the line of scrimmage, don't turn the ball over and commit dumb penalties, and play great defense. This team since Jimmy left continues to lose based on dumb players doing dumb things at the wrong time. Romo is the QB and hence, should take the blame when he plays like an idiot...

You just insulted Danny White. That said, the TD to TO was reminiscent of the '81 Atlanta playoff game.

For anyone that doesn't think Danny White had a great defense, you are quite clueless.
Does Randy White, Ed Jones, D.D. Lewis, Everson Walls, Dennis Thurman ring a bell?
White also had Tony D, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, Doug Cosbie, and a great offensive line.
Step away from the Romo ledge.
That defense was past it's prime. They gave up over 20 ppg most seasons in the 80s. I think this team, and this defense, has proved great individual talent does make you a great team.

Naw, and he's not a bad QB at all. Not saying White was either. This is a head scratcher.
What is it going to take for you to admit this guy is a loser? what has he ever won?

Im fed up with Romo, but let's not go that far. Roethlisberger played horrible in the biggest game of his career and put his team in a hole in the post season against the Jags last year that they couldnt get out of until the Jags spent the entire second half playing prevent defense.

very similar thus far... big numbers... popular with fans and ladies... TOTAL CHOKE ARTISTS.

Romo doesn't protect the ball whatsoever, and both are chronic fumblers.

but danny won multiple playoff games AND had a REAL COACH unlike Romo who is totally regressing due to his stupidity, risk-taking AND terrible, terrible coaching.

it is fixed. The only real game is between the mob officials, the tv networks, and the owners. Don't worry fans, Jerry already has his ea in place for the first season with new stadium so we won't have to wait much longer.

Overall, it's to early in their careers to compare.

Todays performance, Roth gets the vote.

The guy is magical getting out of trouble left and right, then we love him. The wind was horrible today, he tried to make some plays and just didn't do it.

All I know is, I don't know what we have to do to become a dominant team. Our defense played like stallions, then Wade puts the cuffs on them. The coaches have to take a huge slap in the face for their part in this loss.

I agree Clove. That scramble to get the TD to Owens was beautiful.

I think the coaches need more than just a slap, I think the coaches need to go. Too much talent on this team to fold like this one is trhreatenin to do.

From the beginning of this season, I have felt that there was something just not right with this team I just could not say what it is.

I think this team finshes 9-7 or 10 - 6 and misses the playoffs, and that hurts my heart to say.

I don't think Wade, or Garrett, is the coach this team needs :(

Romo's brain is what the problem is. The TD to TO was just tossed up and the WR made a great play. That could have been picked as well if the Stooler had turned around.

The real pick that was tossed to TO was imbecilic because he wasn't open. But what made it worse it that:

1. He underthrew the ball

and...

2. He had time and if he waited TO was getting behind the defender.

The gunslinger aspect to Romo that so many appreciated is the problem.

It's his brain. Not his finger.

Yeah, because conspiracies and dishonesty never happens in this ideal world where millions of dollars are exchanged in gambling.

Wait, what happened in the NBA again?

My thoughts exactly. Part of it is frustration, but I'm really starting to be afraid we've got a Danny White 2.0 as you say.

Danny White WON playoff games.

Here is a thought, Rampage is Skip Bayless 2.0 :laugh2:

I looked at a list of names and I wasn't sure if I was looking at the cast of Goodfellas or the NFL officiating crews

The refs treated this game like it was a Steeler Super Bowl game.
