Have you seen his 4th quarter stats when it's a close game? Have you forgotten how many games he's won for us late in the game?

I could use a look at those numbers, I love Romo, but he has me depressed right now, damn guy.

Where would I find some positive stats to put me in a better mood?

On that one Int to TO, TO gave up on that route...

And on the one for Witten, Witten blew that route, He even pointed to himself when he looked at Tony....if anyone sees the press conference
look out for Witten I want to see if He takes the blame for that, on another note, TO didn't take that route, because there were too many defenders in that small box, did Tony care? don't know but that INT was To's fault as much as Tony's just wanted to put that out there......

Will I bash Tony?

Not for those mistakes, but for some others I will, eventhough he did not cost us the game, some of his audibles did, and ofcourse his other 2 turnovers......

Tnew, you let us down man...usually you are golden, but just one play ...just one..

Dallas Coaching staff.....*pukes*

/disappointed

So we overlook Romo and 10 million turnovers, but we blame TNew for ONE play, on a drive that ended in ZERO points?

Are you serious?

I agree. Its a helluva lot of a fun watching him walk all over crappy teams.

probably the way Favre frustrated GB fans, up until he won the SB, and even after that too. Gunslingers tend to do that. More often than not, they win the gunfight, but on occasion, they can't hit the broadside of a barn, unless it wears the opponent's colors.

at any rate, they play balls out, leave their game on the field and make everything exciting, even when they screw up royally.

while they may frustrate us from time to time, when we sit down and use logic and reasoning, there is almost no other QB we would rather have wearing the uniform.

This thread will contain many other threads started that will be merged in it.

We don't need everyone with an impulse and a keyboard to start a new thread about the same thing over and over.

If other threads are started chances are they will be moved here.

Overreaction Sunday Night.

Everybody's pissed, I get it...so am I but you live and die with Romo. I believe in him and I believe he will pay off big time before his career is over. I have to, because we've all seen the alternative.

Someone needs to delete this thread.

Perspective is not allowed here after a loss! ;)

The dude had a bad day... It happens.
Tony Romo puts up great numbers against losing teams, average teams and good teams. When he faces any team that is a Super Bowl contender, there is not a bigger choker in the the NFL than Tony Romo. When it comes to a big game, Romo is the last QB you want taking the snaps.

If I were to judge how well Romo will do in the clutch from past performances then I would say Romo will never be more than a slightly above average quarterback.

But I still keep hope alive.

These numbers don't reflect today's games, but here you go:

Here are some other QBs numbers for this season only, it's tough to find compiled career splits.

Drew Brees, when playing from behind, has an 85.4 QB rating. He has thrown 9 TDs, and 10 INTs. In the 4th quarter, with the game within 7 points, he has a 72.2 rating, and has thrown 4 TDs and 6 INTs.

Kurt Warner fares a little better. When playing from behind, he has an 89.8 QB rating, has thrown 13 TDs and 8 INTs. In the 4th quarter within +/-7 category, he has an 85.6 rating, 6 TDs and 5 INTs.

Eli Manning, when playing from behind, has an 78.8 QB rating. He has thrown 4 TDs, and 3 INTs. In the 4th quarter, with the game within 7 points, he has a 115.4 rating, and has thrown 4 TDs and 1 INTs.

Eli Manning, when playing from behind, has an 83.2 QB rating. He has thrown 11 TDs, and 7 INTs. In the 4th quarter, with the game within 7 points, he has a 80.6 rating, and has thrown 5 TDs and 3 INTs.

Brett Favre, when playing from behind, has an 80.3 QB rating. He has thrown 6 TDs, and 5 INTs. In the 4th quarter, with the game within 7 points, he has a 82.5rating, and has thrown 4 TDs and 3 INTs.

Tony Romo, when playing from behind, has an 107.9 QB rating. He has thrown 9 TDs, and 3 INTs. In the 4th quarter, with the game within 7 points, he has a 146.4 rating, and has thrown 5 TDs and 0 INTs.

Now you tell me based on those results who you would want QBing your team with the game on the line, or attempting to lead a comeback.

Tony Romo, without a doubt.

most of Romo's INT's aren't "gunslinging" types, it's more of the "*** is he thinking" variety that frustrates us.
