Wow. Cox and Bohanna and Malik are surprises. I knew they liked Dowdle. Luepke is safe.

None of them are surprise to me. When Malik Davis was playing in that final preseason game and they didn't play Dowdle I knew Davis was toast. Kid better learn how to pass protect. On Jabril Cox, other than knocking Daniel Jones out on that goal line run I can't honestly think of anything he has done since being drafted by Dallas. Bohanna is a jag. He got mauled in our run defense last year so we had to go get Hankins.

Didn't we cut McKeon last year in a similar move ? He returned and played 13 games for us in 2022.

And i don't think McKeon is a vested vet,.. so meaning some other NFL team can pick him up from waivers.

I believe we are going to see more double TE sets, which would make sense to carry the extra TE. He certainly has a chance to return via the practice squad.

If Gallimore isn’t cut yet, safe to assume he is coming back?

Neville Gallimore has some value being able to play 3Tech and NT, but I'm ready to part ways.

We have two NTs and several DE/DT tweeners, so I don't see enough in Gallimore to keep him in the final year of his contract. If Gally does make it, the team will have to pay him a $1M roster bonus.

I think both Gallimore/Golston are bubble players and might not make the final roster, especially if they make successful waiver claims.

which would mean we become thin at DT with Golston, Gallimore and Bohanna all gone ..with only Hankins, Mazzi and Osa inside.

i dunno what Feheko will end up being - betweener at 3 man DE or a 3 tech in 4 man front ?
And that's only a 270 lbs man.

Before Tolbert emerged this summer, i had hopes that Cedrick would be a cap casualty and end up back in Dallas.

But since Tolbert is developing quite well... i wish Ceddy well.

How do we know that Lewis is not ready to play yet ?

Coaches and trainers are with him, monitoring him , like Diggs and Gilmore, they have him bubble wrapped until
the reg season begins.

If he doesn't play in the first 4 weeks, then it definitely doesn't make sense. We'll see how soon he suits up?

Agreed. I see no reason to suddenly rush this move.

But it likely means Kelvin Joseph will be cut.

There are conflicting reports, read a tweet from an insider yesterday saying he has be ready for 2 weeks, but hasn't been medically cleared. He still isn't going to be ready even if the doctors ok him as he needs to get into football shape. Think the team wants to use that short-term ir on him.
