Lance will be on the 53. Why can’t we sign Duggan and place him on the practice squad? Then we can develop our 2024 starting QB and backup QB at the same time. They can be besties….

Do you have to add the player to the 53 prior to putting him on PUP or IR if your going to activate them later in the season?

PUP and NFI reserve list are used during the cuts to get to 53 player, so no players are added in such cases.

The day after the initial 53 is set, injured players can be moved to IR/DTR so they can play later on in the season. When a player is moved to IR/DTR, another player will take his spot on the 53 at the same time.

Game 2 3/7 for 13 yds, 1 TD - Stidham got most of the game
Game 3 11/15 for 117 yds, 1 TD, 0 int

So 21/31 for 187 yds and 2 TDs, 0 int

Very surprising to me given how admirably he filled in last year. I have to think the Cowboys will eventually bring in Peters.

I would have kept him because he showed progress this preseason when they moved him to the slot, but I can understand why they would want to give a different bust a try.

The team knows the player better than anyone and they were ready to part ways.

I do wish it would help convince Jerry and Stephen to stop with the second round blue light specials but it is what it is.
