If I were Dallas - I'd sign Peters and Ben Jones - seasoned vets that should be able to hold their own if needed.

Jourdan Lewis isn't ready to play yet. Should've kept him on PUP and used that spot on a youngster.

the reg season begins.

I do wish it would help convince Jerry and Stephen to stop with the second round blue light specials but it is what it is.

I don't know if it will. I believe they are tantalized by first-round ability that's available in the second round because of some deficiency they think can be fixed, whether it's character flaws, injury issues or potential without production.

How often do you see a guy that has not been cleared to practice or even work on the side be able to walk in and play? Basically the answer is never.
