Not sure if moving a team to London is the wise idea considering the long travells, imagine going from London to San Diego. Then i highly doubt players will want to sign there when their salary will be eaten alive by taxes, im pretty sure they have higher taxes than anywhere in USA.

Random games like this are fine, its good for the fans there that arent able to see a game live.

I agree. I think the NFL is being unrealistic in thinking of having an NFL team in Europe anytime soon. I do think the positives in this is promoting the game at it's highest level to peek the interest of kids. They already have youth football leagues in England this only helps to get more kids involved in the game. It is a lot easier having a passion for a sport that you played growing up

Its one game that potentially will draw in thousands of fans and repay loyal UK based fans who have stayed up till 5am most Sundays watching the cowboys sometimes when they have been awful

So true.

Many a time I've had only a couple hours sleep.

We deserve this!

this is incorrect. NFL is massive in the UK and has been since it was first shown in the mid 80s

All the London games sell out at prices comparable to Premier League football

We get five Live games a week on TV (Thursday night football, 1pm, 4pm and Sunday night games and Monday night football)

I personally get every Cowboys game on game pass if not shown here, and know many others who do the same for their teams

I am able to argue the benefits of a London franchise both ways, not that convinced yet, but its undeniable the League would like to see the Jags established as the team for the UK fanbase to support. Which is a tough sell, as we all support the teams we already support

biggest supported teams over here are, in no particular order

Bears
Dolphins
49ers

basiucally the teams that had the most success (or Dan Marino) when most of us learned about the game

So that's why Jerry agreed to play in London. He wants to make America's Team the World's Team, and he has some catching up to do. OK with me, as long as we don't give up a home game.

I was at the 2008 Saints-Charges game in London , lots of Patriots and Dolphins jerseys as I recall LOL, although Wembley was packed, it wasn't real loud if I recall. The "fans" were into the game (just not loud though) and not really rooting for a particular team just kind of "excited to be there" type of mood.

I'm happy for all the European Cowboys fans that have a chance to see the Cowboys for a reasonable cost. I don't get the impression that there's great demand for American football in the UK, but clearly there's enough for the yearly game(s) there to have a big draw. And I imagine among Britons/Europeans that know little about American football, one of the things they've heard of is the Dallas Cowboys - so next year's game should be an exciting event.

The Cowboys will be the visiting team against the Jaguars, who gave up their home game to be part of the international series.

The Jaguars, who face the San Francisco 49ers in London on Sunday, committed to playing a home game in the UK in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, all at Wembley Stadium.

The dates and times of the games will be announced at a later date.

Yeah no way at all this is a home game. Jerry is one of the most respected and powerful owners in this league. He's not giving up one of them.

Actually, this is better than playing at the crappy stadium the Jags have with their terrible atmosphere and attendance. I think it will be pretty cool actually. You knew at some point we were going over there. Seems they are trying to get every team out there at some point.

Just as the rest of the many UK based Cowboy Fans I'm happy about this.

It will be somewhat easier and cheaper to watch the Boys at Wembley than it is to get to Dallas for a game
That said, we are coming over next week for the Vikings game :D

Extra home game for the Cowboys. UK Cowboy fans get to see the Cowboys in person. I think that’s pretty cool.

The only downside of it to me is I'm not keen on such a long travel date mid season and worry about a hangover the following week.i don't buy the American game argument. If this gets Europeans into it do I don't have to put up with hand-egg jokes anymore I'm all for it.

Plus, you gotta admit its gonna be kinda cool playing in front of a world audience and not just a national one.

We already have the most fans of any NFL team in Mexico, Brazil and pretty much any Latino nation. Muy excellente!
