Will never forget the game Romo came back slinging the ball and it felt like a whole new offense.

We are trying to make Dak more than he is. It doesn’t make sense anymore.
One of the worst decisions was not getting Romo ready for those 2016 playoffs. That Packers game was lost because our young guys were nervous - Zeke admitted to this a couple seasons later.

Please lay out the plan where we can make that happen.
Bench Dak starting now. Play Lance the rest of the year. We’ll probably lose every game besides the Giants game. Finish the year 4-13. That will greatly improve our draft position and give Trey reps. At draft day trade up.

That’s a plan. Might not be a good one.

You saying they didn't spend a draft pick on him when they already had some "Dak's" under contract?

Purdy had already surpassed folks on the depth chart. No reason to think the Niner front office wouldn't have figured it out pretty quickly.

How do you think Dak got into a real game?

You ask about other folks watching football a lot for a guy who has no understanding of what he is seeing.
He was the 262nd player picked. He was passed by 31 teams, seven times give or take before he was drafted.

It was a fluke. No one even dreamed he would do what he’s done, the Niners included.

I’m willing to start Rush. He has the mind and quick processing to run McCarthy’s WCO’s fast, short passing game that doesn’t rely on great arm strength which he lacks, and he’s much cheaper than Dak.
Rush sucks.

Well it requires to first get out from Dak's contract and the willingness to surrender 2 - 3 first round picks for the next 3 years. And hope that the team picking #1 will go for it.

That being said, I don't think the Cowboys braintrust will do this.

I've said it over and over again on here that Dak is a mediocre QB. He limits and can't elevate talent around him. Poor at anticipating receivers breaks. Late, late, late with the ball. He's late to the degree that if it's a big play it could've been a TD, if it's an average play, no yac. And usually late resulting in incompletion. Late on timing routes, receivers often have to wait on the ball out of their breaks. Stares down primary receivers. Terrible at tight window throws and will dump off even when receivers are open. Often has trouble reading defenses and processing what he sees. Will rarely allow his 1 receiver the chance to just make a play. Accuracy is inconsistent at best and he gets teammates rocked going across the middle of the field. Can't beat quality teams.
