He missed all of last season. He will be suspended a good chunk of this year. How effective do you think he will be coming back? And tell me who our pass rushers will be until he gets back? Lawrence? He's also a wild card.

most of the time DE sack the QB not DT. I loved Brown but even Suh as good as he is does not put up double digit sacks

Good CB's can make your d-line better than they really are...think about it...if nobody is open, the qb holds the ball longer allowing your d-line to get closer.

With bubble screens and quick passes QBs don't hold on to the ball anymore unless it's like 3rd and 10. With our DL teams will still run it down our throat and make it 3rd and 4 every time. Byron Jones does nothing to fix the 1-legged QB domination problem.

awful. just because a corner can jump far. there's no such thing as a shutdown corner these days and the ones that do use great arm strength. This guy has a hurt shoulder. Why not Malcom Brown?!

He was seen as a 1-tech,. Dallas plays nivkel 80% of the time. The 1-tech is therefore a 1-2 down player. Not gona spend a 1st round pick on someone who's not an every-down player.

Gregory isn't a scheme fit. He's also an undersized idiot, so he's out. The onlyDL who made sense at thios stage of the draft was Carl Davis, and even he is seen as a mid-to-late 2nd rounder.

This would have been a 3rd down nightmare

Except either Mincey or Hardy will slide down to DT, and the other one not playing DT will play DE. A pass rushing specialist would be more valuable.

I don't think Dallas will ignore DL but we also had needs at CB and got a very good CB. As for Hardy again I'm not a fan of his but I know he is a very capable DE with good size and speed. I think if all you want to do is focus on DL and to hell with the secondary I think that is a big mistake to take that attitude. Dallas has Scandrick that is it. Carr and Claiborne has been a disappointment are we to continue to count on them?

Dallas did very well vs run last season, passing defense not as good. I don't think any one is claiming DT is not important, they are and there is still some good talent at DT in this draft

Hearing someone talk is a general indicator of their intelligence level. Having a football IQ is very important. It is usually one of the primary factors in having a player stay in the league longer than their rookie contracts. So yes, hearing that we have a player that is HIGHLY intelligent and that also can play S/CB makes me ecstatic. Not only is he a physical specimen, but the guy won't be making mistakes in being a "dumb" player aka. Claiborne.
