I'm happy with Martin, but it hurts deeply knowing we have Weeden instead of Manziel. :(

why reach when we did not have too? 2nd, 3rd and 4th rd will supply some good talent on defense

True, and I would understand if Pryor and Clinton-Dix were off the board... But seriously, we really should've taken one of them. I know taking Ealy or Jernigan woulda been a reach... but Dix is a top 10 overall talent in this draft and safety is probably our biggest need behind d-line... Can't believe we passed up on them

Dix personally wanted to go to Philly, was one pick away, then the Packers picked him and he looked sick.

Nope. Playing it smart is not being a wuss. This is a good move and he deserves credit for it.

Just to be clear, I liked Manziel but wasn't in love with him and never expected us to take him. But I do think some people have gone overboard with the smart/safe/trenches talk. There's more to good drafting than just taking an OL every year, especially at 16 and especially a G/RT. This guy isn't Tyron Smith.

Btw, I think Dallas very well may take a QB this weekend.

Maybe day 3
