***Official Draft Thread Day THREE***

I still don't see how our defense is better than last year.

Short of a change in health, it isn't, unless you subscribe to the theory that Monte Kiffin was the cause of all issues. Personnel wise, Melton for Hatcher is at best a wash, but Hatcher's 2013 season is better than anything Melton did in Chicago. Lawrence for Ware is a step back at this time, even with Ware disintegrating before our very eyes.

Yeah, but just wait for those five seventh-rounders to come in and take the league by storm.

Exactly. I just don't see an improvement in any one area.

Street sounds like a smart kid that is ready to get to work. Solid interview.

I don't even like the idea of some of those guys being on the field, much less starting.

That's fair. But I like Bass and Crawford. I like the film on McClain. Melton is fine if he's healthy which apparently they think he is per this draft. I'm not real comfortable with Selvie although he's ok as a WDE. Spencer the question is his health and function. Lawrence should contribute right away. I'm more concerned with the LBers. This defense needs fast LBers.

I don't agree completely.

What is becoming abundantly clear so far is that we are actually going to have Terrell McClain starting opening day.

LOL

Ick. A third-stringer on the worst team in the league last year. Before anyone starts, Wade's NTs aren't THAT different from Marinelli's.

What don't you agree with?

Per previous post. I think we're in decent shape on the DL but that assumes Melton is good to go. I'd still love to have another really quick 3 and another rush end. I'm also not convinced we are set there either. Too much can and some will go wrong.

I like McClain. I'm certain he can be replaced but rush 1s don't grow on trees. We could certainly address that later on or exp next year.
