***Official Fire Garrett thread***

His pass-happy philosophy has got to go. Callahan, you can clear out your desk, too. Hit the bricks, Pals.

You close or you "Hit the bricks and beat it pal 'cause you are going OUT!!! Some G Glenn Ross for ya!

His press conference are start to become more and more embarrassing. After the Philly game....fire him on Monday morning.

The bigger issue, I think, is that you just can't keep falling short and not eventually lose the team.

Idgit, I think it was always a matter of time before this very thing happened. It was on the wall even before Detroit...they just did not seem enthusiastic on offense. I always thought that Garrett just might not survive the time it takes for the roster to accrue more talent. On the other hand, Callahan, Kiffin, dismantling the 3-4, the 2TE offense. All of these have to be evaluated as a fail at this point. Garrett's fingerprints are on most if not all the aforementioned areas. Yesterday he could have and should have been the guy who pulled the Cowboys out of the abyss of it's own flawed game plan. He did not and frankly it only confirms that they are deliberate in their efforts to marginalize the running game. That fact alone is reason enough to want Garrett gone. Just my personal take. The players themselves might make the decision that Jones himself might be reticent to make. If Witten and Romo were really yelling at Garrett on the sidelines then Waterloo could be just around the corner. I remember telling my brother after the loss to Chicago that things could indeed get worse for Dallas over the coming weeks. Three gut-wrenching losses over four or five weeks may be too much to recover from. Don't mean to be a Debbie-downer this fine monday morning but yesterday was a game-changer in Dallas, and probably not in a good way.

Broaddus just called the Game Management out in his new blog post. That is telling.

Serious question, Idgit... are you still on the JG bandwagon? I usually enjoy your posts and thoughts on the Boys, but your JG homerism is inexplicable to me. Surely after tonight you see where everyone else is coming from?

Missed this earlier 95% of the time,

I pretty much agree. I think it's most because we're defenseless, and I don't have a problem overall with marginalizing the running game, but he's in danger of losing the team, and if we miss the playoffs, things are going to change.

he should have been fire few years ago,you guys are sheep who dont see his ineptitude and want to believe he is wise when in reality he is a moron.

just because Red is growing the extreme of calling him a moron ...........not true

Redball must go. Regrettably, I will finally admit he is not a good HC. Now GM….:p

Where do we go with HC? We've gone through at least 50 coaches since Jimmah left. The results have been the same.

Will another talking head make a difference?

Jason needs to be a QB coach on some no name college team.

The fact that he is the HC of the most valued sports franchise in the world is a JOKE & speaks volumes about just what a ******* Jerry is.

There is always hope, even with JJ in place, that an effective coach will come on board. The current guy has already shown that he isn't it...

The current guy is definitely not it. I just don't have faith that JJ will hire the "right" guy.

The "right" guy will not tolerate JJ's bs.

Therefore, we'll never have the right guy.

Like what Herm Edwards says on ESPN.com, KYP Know Your Personal!! Manage the team according to your personnel. Help your D by running the ball and killing the clock!

Not many ways to explain this loss other then poor coaching... After the first "pick" that was called back we should've been much more run heavy.

Simply put our D was no longer stopping the offense so we got aggressive at then end and it cost us.. You cant stay a head coach in this league when you blow games with at 23 point lead..

I'm a little more optimistic than that. Tuna was close to being the right guy. Jerry can do the right thing under the right conditions. Don't give up hope....

Jerry gave up power to Tuna because he needed the guy to sell his stadium.

Jerry is no longer under any pressure. He will not cede any power ... especially at this stage of his life. He's getting desperate in his old age. He knows his window to show the world that he's a football maverick is closing, and he's willing to go to massive extremes to prove himself right. He will put the Cowboys in another decade mediocrity.
