24 pt lead vs. a 3 pt lead.

How this is lost on some people is amazing. Unfortunately, it also seems to be lost on Garrett.

Make excuses for him all you want, but the team looked repeatedly lost and disorganized, and the 3 and out with 3 minutes left was nothing short of a joke. 90% of us were pretty sure what was going to happen when they went 3 and out.

I've defended Garrett all season long, but today he looked in over his head. The 3 and out series was so poorly done he couldn't have done worse if he'd actively tried to lose the game.

Simply unacceptable.

OMG that shovel pass, i literally just sunk into my couch and ruefully smiled, can you believe that?

Amazing call. With Kowalski at guard to boot, brilliant!

When I saw that shovel pass I almost put a hole through my wooden coffee table.

That shovel pass near the goal line in the 4th? Rhymes with wussy.

That second to last possession when we were playing keepaway and made no real attempt to get a first down? See above.

You can only ask so much of a defense that was surely gassed by the Pats' no-huddle offense.

That was a BS Gutless call.

I'll go first :)

I don't hate him at all. I really like what he does most of the time.

But his red zone offensive scheme/play-calling/game-planning...whatever it is needs some serious work. To be inside the 5 yard line and neglect to throw the ball up to Dez one on one is just sad.

And that last drive when we were up and needed to get a first down? Ugly.

We have to get better at that. This loss is squarely on his shoulders.

I agree, the entire team made some great plays and some bad plays, this one is on the coaches, imo.

Well and the D. I'll keep saying it till they stop doing it. How many times will we watch them play great all day only to give up a last minute score to blow the game? Ryan is helping but it's the same story, the D can't close the deal.

The thing about it, Garrett has been doing this for years but Wade Philips took the brunt of the criticisms. JG can't escape from it now. He knew we could not run all day. We had a chance to knock them out but JG played not to lose. Giving the ball back to Brady and company was suicide. I knew we lost the minute we punted the ball. Like I said, we have to rid ourselves of JG, Romo, and most of all Jerry Jones.

You have to know your situation. Last week we had a huge lead against a young team. You run the clock there This week we had a very slim lead against one of the most clutch QBs of all time. You either get the first or die trying becuase if you dont, you're dead anyway

This...

On another note...does Jason have even a clue how to use Dez Bryant?
does Dez know how to run more than two routes? I don't think he's where Romo expects him to be about 90% of the time. No proof. jmo

You know, I've disliked Romo with all my might in week 1 and week 4. But I'm not going to blame him anymore. Jason Garrett is holding him back. There's no telling how good our offense would be if we had a real offensive coordinator.

But Jerry Jones enjoys losing too much, he won't change this.

From the totally unacceptable shovel pass to 3 straight run plays, it was as if he was on the Patriots payroll.

You are right... let's not put Romo in difficult position against the 32nd ranked super power Pats defense.

Let's ask Rob to stop Brady for the 11th time this game.

Run it three times, or rely on Romo?? Run three times, the defense was playing great.

Yeah give the ball back to possibly the greatest QB of all time with more than enough time left on the clock.

You can only dodge bullets for so long before you get hit, Rob Ryan out-dodged freakin' Neo today but in the end it wasn't enough.

Keep the ball out of Rodgers/Brees/Brady/Manning's hands at all costs, an Ivy leaguer should be able to understand that.

Let's be real, Garrett will NEVER give up calling plays. He loves that power. We're stuck with him

Well than there is a strong possibility that he will have a shorter career than he would like, 'attention to detail' is wonderful provided you are a top flight OC, which sadly he is not.

And i actually like the guy but lets face it, he is not a good OC.

Come on its no longer debatable.

Just going on the assumption that Dez doesn't -- you can still tell him what to do if he doesn't know the plays.

Yeah, it's backyard football, but I'll take "hey Dez, I'm going to throw it up to you toward the corner" over a shovel pass on the 5 yard line 7 days out of 7.

I thought we were playing the 85 Bears.

WORST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE, folks. Ivy league.

Garrett should be done, his offense is a complete joke now.

You cant score more than 1 freaking TD against the worst defense in the entire NFL?

Wow, I really think we might actually lose to the Rams now.

Or maybe we play to win the game. Who cares what happened last week? Romo beat San Fran and Washington by himself. This is the NFL, you don't just stop playing because the game is close. If we are a good team, Romo will make a play or two and we win.
Were 2-3, not yet a good team. But when your D is playing lights out, you don't want the offense to make a mistake like they have been prone to do in 2 prior losses. You give your D a shot to close it out in this case. Unfortunately it didnt work today.

I know of an endzone route that he's pretty good at. Regardless of he's where he should be outside of the redzone, there's absolutely no reason to not throw to him in the redzone.

Fire him. Calling plays like he's scared out of his mind. Just disgusting and pathetic, no excuse. We ALWAYS end up looking like jokes. Every week I think it can't get any worse, and it does. I HATE this team right now.

JG has really tiny nads. No scrot to throw the ball and instead left plenty of time for Captain Tom.

In my best Fargo impression 'you got that right'.

take a wild guess, how many times did Dallas actually attack and throw into the endzone today, anyone know that answer??
